Jan 25, 2026 this was the first pic of ben as batman! man i remember this so well. it was only a year or 2 after the dark knight rises and everyone was still on bale’s d-ck (rightly so,) then this dropped and just changed everythin. we’d already seen this style in watchmen and man of steel, but seeing batman receive the visionary snyder treatment was really a sight to behold. then more screenshots started dropping, trailers, teasers, man the promo for this movie was insane. billboards toys the works, everyone was talking about batman fighting superman. and even tho critics bitched it made almost a billion even without crowdsourcing hype from tiktok. film still stands on its own even today, start to finish. the way bruce breathes a subtle sigh of exhaustion after charismatically lying to lex’s assistant, the martha synchronicity, “you didn’t see it because you couldn’t,” the knightmare, the warehouse fight, “i believe you,” “i thought she was with you,” “if god is all powerful he can not be all good,” there are so many quotables in this movie i’ve lost count. this generation with its razor thin plots and one dimensional characters could never
Jan 25, 2026 Probably top 3 Batman movie. They did Superman dirty but it was a dumb plot to begin with. Superman an Alien with lazer eyes lol but struggled to fight a human with tech.

It was good for the low standards of DC.
