haha it’s no secret i wasn’t writing to beats before. maybe it was hubris that led me to believe that rapping like kickoff and adding a random beat later was the same as making a good track. i’m happy to be learning proper songwriting techniques!

i mean, to be fair, most mainstream rappers are not writers, they’re actors. we are writing, rapping, and in a lot of cases producing as well. i’m sorry if you feel that our efforts don’t always come together the way that a song made by an entertainer with an entire staff does. we appreciate your participation in the thread though!
