Feb 10, 2026 at 6:48 AM Okay I'll make it make sense: I'm a white nut, I like butts Females, not shemales, Hetero's only, 'cause dikes s--- Not d-ck though, They don't like that Get on the mic, Jack Are you afraid to fight back? I'm hotter than a spice rack d--- girl, that's a nice rack I might crack Them t-ts got me koo'koo Like crack
Feb 10, 2026 at 7:10 AM When I was 14 years old in 2010 I wrote and recorded a verse that went: I’ve been studying grime, spitting fully on time Getting gully with the bars You ain’t funny no more, you ain’t running no wars Stop with the small talk, i be duppying lines You’re not dutty with the rhymes, you’d be lucky to the nines If you think you’re getting more than 4, I’ll settle the score and bring more than a war to your door And start throwing hooks to your eyes Gotta start following the steps, no hollow regrets Gotta do it by the book, spit sick I be spewing right hooks I’m not sorry for the threats only out for the novelty cheques Chasing the paper and making the scrilla I’m ill, like a dog at the vets If I’m spitting like this then I’m probably vexed At the world, guess I’m better of probably dead Eminems s-----y multis are far from impressive in the modern way he writes and delivers them. It was way better when they seemed liked they were natural, smooth and not so forced. Like the times when he rhymes numerous rappers names, or when he says “you’ll need three swords, a ouija board” or when he says “I’m a mix between Dhamer, Dali lama” or whatever it is. Just really s-----y.
Feb 10, 2026 at 7:29 AM Couldnt finish those lyrics of yours JMG, sorry. But yea those things you listed s---, but its not like thats all he writes now. I came here to say I see no fault in the window pane line.
Feb 10, 2026 at 7:33 AM Its like saying writing a novel is simple, you just tell a story, and then proceed to write a bad book. Eminems writing is captivating. He is Shakespeare, you are all Dan Brown.
Feb 10, 2026 at 7:39 AM If you’d like I could provide an audio sample. Point is, 14 year old child me that had only been writing lyrics for like a year was still writing 4-5 syllable multi-rhymes. Multi-syllable rhyming is the most overrated part of rap. It’s no surprise all the “technical” rappers constantly get s--- on and laughed at. Eminem included. it’s just so sad to see him think that has to be the most important part of his rap persona for the better part of 15 years, with zero sign of becoming aware of it.
Feb 10, 2026 at 7:41 AM It was 20 years ago. It no longer is. He hardly even stands out on those tracks with Slaughterhouse. Nothing captivating there. They all just sound part of the same bunch.
Feb 10, 2026 at 7:49 AM I disagree. There is still his personality and wit in there. For example, in I Will one of them says "Ay bruh, I go ham for dead presidents and everything you record is over your head like a boom mic" I hate this. It seems clever but its boring and soulless. Compare with "enabling can do more harm then good so call me abe lincoln cause i'll be honest I can flip in a blink and" Infinitely more interesting and clever. Its not the rhymes alone. Rhymes are a bonus. But when he does something like this AND it rhymes like that, thats impressive.
Feb 10, 2026 at 7:53 AM Shakespeare lol. Yeah, MMLP era sure. Or something like 'Stan', or 'Kim', or one of his seminal tracks. The majority of his raps, now or even back then are not that high-art fam. He will sacrifice almost everything for the rhyme, and he's just a multi machine. Yeah my example wasn't as good as Em, but why would it be, I'm not Eminem lmao, and I don't spend my life doing it - but the fact I could s--- out something even comparable in 5 minutes f---ing around, and he spends YEARS constructing... not THAT MUCH better - I mean, half of his raps are just ramblings between 'how good he is at rap', 'random violence', 'random women s---' and novel wordplay, bouncing between those sorts of subjects, all connected through multis... He acts like it's f---ing algebra lmao.
Feb 10, 2026 at 7:57 AM If you spent your life writing books you would not write Brothers Karamazov. A child can write, but a good writer stands out. And Eminems worst lyrics are THAT BETTER than what you wrote. I dont even care about multis. I find his simplistic writing on Encore great. Its the ideas he has. These days he threads and weaves a concept through most of a verse that ties into everything. AND it rhymes. If you dont see it as impressive its going over your head.
Feb 10, 2026 at 8:23 AM You're missing the point. At no point did I say that's all he does, or that his writing as a whole is not impressive. Nothing is going over my head lmao. I said multis within themselves are not that difficult. But Em acts like multis in themselves are quantum phyiscs, like on Kami when he's like 'you don't realise I'm rhyming the whole f---in' sentence!', it's like... no Em, we do. But that in itself is not like WOW HE RHYMED THE WHOLE SENTENCE, like, yeah, he does nothing but write rhymes 24/7 for his work, so it's not that impressive. I didn't say his writing full stop is not impressive.
Feb 10, 2026 at 8:44 AM But in that skit he's responding to someone mocking him for just rhyming "rhymes" with "chimes" and hes saying thats not all he rhymed there
Feb 10, 2026 at 8:54 AM Yeah but almost nobody says that lol. So he's building a fake strawman for himself to knock down, to just highlight his multis to us again, because I honestly think he thinks we don't hear them... just like how he thinks he has to go 'get it?' for all his punchlines. From all the critiques I've read from obsessive fans, to casual fans, to non-Em fans... I don't think I've ever seen someone say his rhyming is simplistic, or criticize the rhyming or miss the fact he's rhyming multis. They are criticizing his content or subject-matter, or his production, or whatever, but these things are harder to address so he just is highlighting the one thing he does very well and acting like that's what's being missed. Just like when he responded to the Slaughterhouse criticism, and he's like 'YOU'RE CRITICIZING f---ing WORDSMITHS', it's like... yeah. Lol. People weren't criticizing the raps, they were crticizing the production, the phoned-in hooks, the obvious pop grabs etc. They can be great wordsmiths and great rappers AND the music and songs can be s--- for other reasons, both things can be true, but he doesn't seem to get this lately.
Feb 10, 2026 at 9:19 AM Are you sure he made that comment about chimes up? Seemed to me he actually ran across it somewhere.
Feb 10, 2026 at 9:38 AM This is absolutely f---ing hilarious man lmao... I wish 50 was with Yayo instead of Murder. Although I gotta give it to Jah, he offered 2 men to go fight off of the plane. Yayo can't fight but murder stays in the gym Idk if he can fight though but dudes shredded.
Feb 10, 2026 at 9:38 AM anyone can write multis that don’t make sense, or make sense but don’t really speak to anyone emotionally. minato and i do it all the time. but i’m kinda surprised to see eminembase so profoundly missing the point that what eminem does is combine unmatched multisyllabic rhyming with coherent storytelling, vivid imagery, multiple layers of metaphor, riding parts of the beats that nobody else does, speaking on truthful personal experience, and constantly switching deliveries to the point that almost no 2 songs sound alike. and he brings all of this together in ways that nobody else can. i’m sure zeb will argue with me that those wack a--- bars he posted back there are better than lose yourself, but i hope embase can at least see that it’s the combination of myriad different skills and techniques executed in perfect unison that make eminem who he is
Feb 10, 2026 at 9:54 AM This is ludicrous talk coming from someone who’s literally made hundreds of songs and hasn’t managed to “ride the beat” in its most simplest form one single time in any of them. You wouldn’t know what riding a beat was if you were a cowboy galloping on a horse in 1936 and Horses were called beats, instead of horses.
