Feb 14, 2026 at 11:59 AM More than mine lol I made a tape but honestly struggling being able to listen to other so don't wanna post bs reviews.
Feb 14, 2026 at 3:25 PM When I signed up for the two month trial, I planned to continue with it but then realized that I haven’t been using it at all lol. If you guys know any good podcasts it might be worth getting Don’t worry, big dawg. I’ve got you when I start reviewing again.
Feb 14, 2026 at 3:42 PM I'm goated with the sauce/have no life so I'm happy I've been able to not miss a tape yet lol. Gonna try to get to Jimmy's tonight
Feb 14, 2026 at 4:03 PM It ended a few years ago, but the entire run of c-m Town is absolutely goated imo. I think some members could probably back me up on this, but every episode has some absolutely killer stuff
Feb 14, 2026 at 4:14 PM Cumtown is so good For ongoing podcasts I'll always recommend The Snark Tank, some of the topics are niche tho, then you get gold like this https://youtube.com/shorts/HQ_9BNcZA1c?si=YJQwIu2UWRPy7Dep
Feb 14, 2026 at 4:19 PM @AOTWClub some updates/decisions First off, I want to apologize for how frequent these updates, are becoming, I know they can be a bit of a slog I'm going to be tallying up LND a little after this post goes up, and I'll tally up Intermission once MM's review goes up. Bigfoot's departure puts us in a bit of a weird spot. The following member is supposed to be @CSW, but he's currently tempbanned until the 20th, which makes Ripper the next member on the list. The issue is that I feel like this might put a big time crunch on Ripper (since his tape would be up tomorrow instead of two weeks from now), so I'll base it off of what he decides. In order to properly cement a minimum count (at least for the remainder of this round), we'd also need to have a full count of the participating reviewers. This'll be changed up once the round ends since lowkitz wanted to join back in for the album rounds. After integrating in Wreck and BF's absences post-Pharmacokinetics, and the reviewing inactivity from Diggle, I think the review lineup goes a little like this: Jankland Michael Myers Yeez Jimmy Jazz CSW Ripper Roo Allis Mines (re-joined this week) I'm going to be reducing the minimum review count from 6 to 5 since all of the members on the list have kept up with their reviews. Like I've said before, if you need an extension, please let me know!!!
Feb 14, 2026 at 4:21 PM The results are in, and Late Night Drive has scored... 7.2 out of 10!!! It is now in 16th place. Congrats @Michael Myers !!!
Feb 14, 2026 at 4:54 PM Yeah I’ll throw a tape together. I actually just got an idea a few hours ago. I’m also about to post a review of Jimmy Jazz’s tape
Feb 14, 2026 at 5:03 PM Jimmy Jazz - Pharmacokinetics! As a whole, I’m always excited to hop into a new tape. I’ve made countless new discoveries through them over the past year (d---!), and there’s always a lot of material that I’ve been familiar with before, which is always neat. I mention this, because out of all of the members in the club, I’d say that JJ’s picks are usually the closest to mine (I’d say that Diggle is probably the second), so it’s always a treat to jump into one of his. I was either familiar with, or planning to listen to all of the artists on this tape, so I knew I was in for a pretty good time. The initial four track run of “Night of the Living Baseheads”, “Flat Tummy Tea”, “JoHn Muir”, and “Swivel” is incredible straight off the bat. NOTLB makes the album kick off with an infectious energy, and the fact that the tape pivots intro two mid-late 2010’s classics is such a good pairing. As a big Voodoo enjoyer “Left and Right” is always stellar, and “I’ll Stay” was a pretty great funk piece to conclude this first section of the tape. I’m not too familiar with MGMT aside from Time to Pretend (which is probably the equivalent of saying “I know Nirvana only because of Smells Like Teen Spirit), but I thought that “She Works Out Too Much” was great, especially when the sax kicks in. “Supergroovalistic…” is another great funk piece, and I’d say that I might prefer it over “I’ll Stay”. It’s just a great time all around. “Never Catch Me” is the first Flying Lotus produced song on the tape, and it’s great with a pretty sick Kendrick verse. The synths at the end are niceee. “Right On” was pretty good too, although I have to admit that I thought Joanna Newsom’s hook was a pitched up sample at first lmao (I’m not really familiar with her aside from her role in Inherent Vice). “Rain” is dope, and it’s another reminder of me to finally check out Faces (I was doing a full Mac Miller listening project a few months ago and I stopped right around WMWTSO). As a big ZUU enthusiast, “SPEEDBOAT” was a great pick. And then we have “Negro Spiritual”….Jesus f---. It’s no secret that I absolutely love Danny and Peggy, so having one of their strongest collabs (and one of the best songs on uknowhatimsayin) is absolutely PEAK I’ve never checked out Injury Reserve or Mick Jenkins, but “Bad Boys 3” and “Black Sheep” were sickkkkkkkk. Nourished By Time is the only artist on the tape that I wasn’t really familiar with at all, but “BABY BABY” was dope, and the beat was super awesome. This probably isn’t much of a surprise, but I loved Pharmacokinetics!. A great mix that spans multiple genres and decades, but still feels incredibly cohesive. Absolutely stellar time with this tape, and big thanks to @Jimmy Jazz for the tape FAVORITES: Night of the Living Baseheads, Flat Tummy Tea, Left And Right, SPEEDBOAT, Negro Spiritual, Black Sheep Rating: 10/10 @AOTWClub
