Feb 28, 2026 at 12:34 AM Movie was pretty decent, some fun ideas. I have some issues with it falling into nostalgia slop territory with some points. Fun setpieces and kills. I think my main issue is that when you have a satire franchise that's running for so long that it ends up basically becoming the thing it's satirizing under the guise of irony. Overall fun time tho

Feb 28, 2026 at 3:38 AM I think a 7.5/10 maybe 8/10 They had to improvise after the main character(s) left (even if it's their own d--- fault). Start a new story would have been weird so they were kinda forced to 'go back'. Imo it was handled very well. This means, like jany said, it's more about nostalgia than progression of the story. But imo if you want new groundbreaking stuff there's plenty of movies to see. Long running franchises, imo, are for the real fans. Especially the premise of this movie. The way I rank them rn (but have to see 7 few times more to really judge) Scream 1 Scream 5 Scream 2 Scream 3 / Scream 7 Scream 4 Scream 6 Probably... they are all so close Ranking the killers this def is one of the wordt but we can discuss this once we all seen it lol But so far Billy/Stu Roman Ms. Loomis/Mickey Jill/Charlie Richie/Amber Richie's s-----y family
Feb 28, 2026 at 4:14 AM I think the performance was fun but the actual motive and who it ends up being is very whatever (especially cause i think some of the fakeouts and surprises are actually decent), definitely one of if not my least favorite in terms of not really adding to the lore or the meta text of the movie very much. Excited for more people to watch it so I feel more comfortable going into detail on the things I thought were cool! Same thing for what I think doesn't work.
Feb 28, 2026 at 4:28 AM Yeah I mean the identity and motive! Not so much the performance liked that too. And to be fair, the last 2 movies also had awful killers (as in, motives) especially 6 eww. And agree more people should watch it there's plenty to discuss.
