Mar 19, 2026 at 8:46 AM 2nd verse of houdini is some s-----y s---. Its incoherent. "Back in the days of old me, right around the time I became a dope fiend" and he sidetracks and never tells us whats that back in the days of old him, never finishes the thought. Then the "when i started this verse it felt lighthearted at first" and then neither changes the tone to non-lighthearted nor finishes that thought either.
Mar 19, 2026 at 11:07 AM I came back to leaks from 2025. Seasons is a f---ing masterpiece. I need a new f---ing album. Solo or duo with 50. I just hope we will get something this year
Mar 19, 2026 at 2:02 PM That’s what happens when you’re too focused on rhyming and not focused enough on actually making sense.
Mar 19, 2026 at 3:11 PM He actually does complete the thought: doing drugs and alcohol made him happy and helped him cope
Mar 19, 2026 at 3:24 PM You may have a point there. I’m gonna leave this one up to the lyrical scholars here
Mar 19, 2026 at 3:57 PM They say I rhyme like A.I. It don’t make sense how I’m this high Is it the bar I set or how I didn’t cry?! Tobey maguire when I get to fry Use to mop floors and miss lunchtime Now I’m topping 4 Lime pies Who works harder than I? Made a franchise in Dubai Cuz my fans do buy You don’t want merchandise You still purchase mine Perch like a fly What I’m trying to describe Is I’m fire when I try
Mar 19, 2026 at 4:09 PM So his point is this: "in the days of old me I became a drug addict" Not much of a point, and it has nothing to do with participation throphies that it leads to
Mar 19, 2026 at 4:13 PM Oh and one more reason GC2 sucks: When shady voice is drilling him the strongest, the double voice part, eminem keeps adlibbing "yea, true, right" and then says "you're full of s---, you need miralax, open your mouth and s--- flies, just lies" Then why the f--- did you keep nodding to everything shady said in those adlibs? And those adlibs s--- too. He used to have funny adlibs that add to the lyrics. Nowadays his adlibs are just "why?" "Like what" in between setup and punchline.
Mar 19, 2026 at 4:41 PM I’m out-Wrapping Scholars like dog collars Holler at ye, I’m c-m laude but taller Like my daughters that graduated And I got dollars like commerce Yall ain’t made it up; Peach cobbler I cooked the Stuff and measured And that’s the thing about midgets They are a blur to helicopters And I just took this beat to the doctor
Mar 19, 2026 at 5:23 PM it doesn’t lead to anything? The whole song is rooted in nostalgia that ties into the hook. The opening bars are him talking about he used to drugs and drink a lot back then but he became addicted. Then he moves onto “my music may not be age appropriate but I will hit an 8-year-old with a participation trophy because I have zero doubt the whole world’s about to turn into some Girl Scouts” Pretty common song structure in rap. Without Me’s third verse is somewhat similar for instance.
