I only listened to the LP rip once but my immediate thoughts were that it feels kinda jumbled and disjointed, and not in a way that worked in its favor like Pablo. The demo version had a singular vision and sound — this felt like it had a couple competing aesthetics that didn't quite come to fruition and/or fully jive with each other. Since it was an LP and he didn't play all the songs he listed on the track list I won't put too much stock into the sequencing yet cuz I assume it'll be switched around a bit...but that def contributed to the disjointedness for me, tho I'm probably a bit biased cuz I relistened to the demo version a few times the past couple days and have that in my head,

tldr; seems OK, demo version > LP version as is

the release version of Donda is such a mess but there's a pretty good Kanye album in there when you trim the fat

I mostly agree. For me, one of the biggest issues with the current version is the clash between the old songs and the new ones. Aside from Bully, I feel like most of the songs that were on the demo don't really fit with the new sound. Like, a song like Preacher Man sounds jarring when compared to songs like King or Father. The demo had a very personal, minimal sound, so mixing those songs with these new ones sounds off.

As for sequencing, I think I got used to the demo's order, so this does throw me off a bit, This version feels a bit frontloaded (granted, they skipped like 6 songs apparently), so I'm hoping it gets shuffled a bit.
