    The thing is, every album he drops the thing people talk s--- about, but replaces it with something new... the accent, it became screaming/s-----y punchlines.. then he dropped the screaming and came up with the stop and go flow people didn't like. And now he is doing the choppy flow. I think on paper eminems work on Shady XV is a little better than on MMLP2 overall, but his flow (except for a few verses) makes it uncomfortable to listen to (for example right for me)

    People need to realize Eminem is a grown a--- man in his 40's. Even if he could lay down another MMLP it would look corny as f---. I think Eminem is good for 2 more albums. Then prey to the rap gods for a lost tapes type of album. A few years after that have one more greatest hits with 2-3 brand new songs.

    I'd like it if he just put out one final solo album and take as long as necessary to make it a classic. Take 5+ years on it if he has to. Have this next album be his Detox. Market it as his last album, perfect it, have a retirement type theme throughout the album. Maybe do one more side project in the meantime (how bout a full length Bad Meets Evil album) and then after his final solo album (he'd be late 40s at this point) just run his label and become a full time producer.

    He can take as long as he wants, but Eminem doesn't have the ability sonically (or logically) to create anything close to a classic. He just doesn't know what good music sounds like anymore.

    I'm still kind of baffled by the fact that people see such discernible difference (for the better) between Eminem on MMLP2 and Shady XV. That horrible stop-and-go flow has only gotten worse, if anything.

    Indeed...I hope he hangs up the mic within the next 5yrs, manages the artists on his label and maybe start a tv show kinda like Tosh .0 or Rob's Ridiculousness

    i like shady xv,i dont like everything em puts out but i liked the album,i think a solo album would be a bit much but for a couple songs it was nice obviously its not album of the year but still whatever i do agree hes only surrounded by yes man but its whatever

    Why people make a huge deal when Eminem had a bad side project like XV. Other artists have bad mix tapes and it's brushed off. Just be patient for his next album. I've heard enough of this. If you wanna let your feelings out put it in the discussion thread that is pinned.
