Dec 4, 2014 I interpreted this the same as you. It just had a hint of hypocrisy in my opinion (since he talks about black stereotypes in a later track). I'm sure that's not what he meant but it came off that way.
Dec 4, 2014 Im listening for the first time throughout. I Skimmed through it yesturday & was only impressed by the first half. Cole with the drizzy flow on A Tale of 2 Citiez & On Fire Squad
Dec 4, 2014 It's cool but I don't think Em will say something about it. That whole verse is incredible, by the way. That Iggy line >>>
Dec 4, 2014 was so hyped for this album. finally got to listen to it today and i gotta say im extremely disappointed. very very average album by cole. only thought 3 songs were dope. wet dreamz, fire squad and no role modelz. the rest of the tracks are boring and forgettable, and some are just wack like hello. s--- album, gonna be a recycle bin classic
Dec 4, 2014 Compared to my first listens with 'cw:ss' and 'bs' this tops both. On par with mixtape Cole. Only let down was note to self. First post on s80:gentmoney:
Dec 5, 2014 Gotta say this was pretty great, seriously dont understand the love for fire squad though, Hello is one of my fav cole tracks by far btw...
Dec 5, 2014 03 adolescence apparently a tale of 2 citiez GOMD She asked me if I'm scared to fly To tell the truth I'm terrified I never been that high before Very bad reason not to go Terrible reason not to go
Dec 5, 2014 Only listened once so far, but I'm liking the production a lot. It doesn't strike me as an album that I'm going to keep revisiting just because Cole can get a bit boring on his own, but I suppose we'll have to see on repeat listens.
Dec 5, 2014 I have a friend who is a huge J cole fan, and he said he was very disappointed in the new album. He hated how it had no features and he said cole sang too much on the album. I liked Born Sinner but i'll pass on this album.
Dec 5, 2014 Wet dreamz No role modelz A tale of 2 cities Fire squad Those are my fav tracks.. Also the outro was pretty funny
