Dec 7, 2014 Sony recently filed for the registration of a new and interesting logo at the Japanese Patent and Trademark office. The logo, which you can see at the top of the post, looks like a PlayStation logo wearing a pair of headphones. Below you can find a translation of the trademark notice. [Serial Number 2014-93301] Trademark: [Image] Applicant: Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. Filing date: November 6, 2014 Classification: 9 (electronic applications, machinery and other parts thereof), 38 (telecommunications etc.), 41 It’s very hard to say what the new logo could be about. It could be a multimedia app, or a new line of headset for PlayStation consoles, or even a certification logo for the compatibility of third party headsets. The only real hint we have is that it’s somehow related to games, as class 9 and 41 are applied to gaming and online gaming respectively.

Dec 8, 2014 Ha, it's probably a great service. Just annoying that Sony won't allow other competing music services (Pandora, etc.) on the PS4 due to Music Unlimited. This is a complete assumption.
Dec 9, 2014 Would love if they launched a new headset and replaced the s-----y one you get by default in the PS4 right now. Doesn't help me but everyone in the future who buys one.
Mar 31, 2015 If anyone still cares, this was for Playstation Music featuring Spotify (it's just Spotify). Launched yesterday (3/30). Fantastic PS4 app.
Mar 31, 2015 Love that I can listen to it and play games at the same time. Didn't try too hard but I wasn't able to skip a track while in gta.
Apr 6, 2015 It's so f---ing awesome using spotify while playing games. That way I don't have to listen to the s-----y a--- mlb the show soundtrack. Bumping tpab while playing gta.., all is right with the world. Can't figure out how to put my playlist on shuffle tho
