^Lol exactly. If you're nowhere near playoff contention there's no point in winning. Might as well lose and get a better draft pick and easier schedule. I honestly think the worst record to finish with is 7-9 or 8-8. Horrible season without the benefit of a good draft pick.

So disappointed in Manziel. At Least start running and picking up consistent yardage. Passes were late, Reads were slow. Time to get serious JFF

Bills D has completely shut down Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers in consecutive weeks. It's a shame that a defense this good won't make a playoff appearance (highly unlikely). @cdbleb what's up, not Jenkins anymore.

The Chargers doesn't even look like they're trying, seems like they playing a normal game. Like their as if losing wouldn't do anything.

Just heard Drew Stanton is out at least a month. Arizona will be lucky to win another game this year.

Rooting for the Niners now. Still holding out hope that the Eagles can still get the #2 seed.

I said this before..... Wilson does all the hard stuff right but the simple things.... He just messes up on. Terrible decision to throw that ball over the middle with 8 seconds left.

You guys say these teams should all just lose like it's an easy thing to do lol...according to you, the Redskins and Giants would both be trying to lose...somebody has to win (according to McNabb).

Players don't try to lose for draft picks...management may not go out and sign better talent because they are trying to rebuild, but there is no way players are going out there thinking "well, let's not play hard so we can get a better draft pick next year."

If you've ever played sports you'd understand this...doesn't matter how bad you are, you're out there attempting to do your best.

I agree with @Axis. Especially in the NFL where high draft picks rarely turn out and later round picks are usually what make up the foundation of your team anyway. The NBA on the other hand I can completely see reason in tanking

It's going to be very hard to achieve 2nd seed, given the tie breakers they don't have. First things first, they need to beat Dallas and win one of the last two to secure a playoff birth. Otherwise, given their losses are going to be against teams that beat them already will keep them from qualifying. They're only going to make it if they win division at this point imho.

Either way, diehard Eagles fan here. Go birds!!

That's why tonight's game is so important. Eagles & Cowboys can literally both finish 11-5 and whoever wins the division will probably be the #3 seed and whoever finishes 2nd probably won't make the playoffs at all.

I think it'll be a very close game tonight. I don't hope for that, I'd rather watch an Eagles blowout, but I just don't see it. I see the score being 34-31 Eagles.

Never said they should go out their and try to lose, at this point they are playing for their jobs and a chance to come back next year so obviously they need to try to win. I stand by my statement though, with teams like the Giants who I think need to move on from Coughlin and Eli, winning these games only is going to save their jobs and push them down in draft selection. You don't want to be stuck in the never ending road of mediocrity, trust me lol I know....

That's very true and I would obviously never expect a team to TRY to lose lol. I just meant it more from a fan perspective. Once my team is out of playoff contention I don't want them to win anymore.

That bs roughing the passer penalty on the 49ers could change the whole season honestly if Seattle ends up winning the division
