Jan 4, 2015 Eminem has always had great hooks even on Relapse (Stay Wide Awake, Same Song & Dance, etc.). Recovery's worst aspect was arguably the hooks, as well as started Eminem's path of getting woman or samples for the hooks. MMLP2 had one good hook, 'Brainless' the rest were mediocre or not there (Groundhog Day's outro would have been great as a hook). on Shady XV, again, Eminem does not do any of his own hooks, opting for samples or women (minus the tiny part that Eminem sung on GOF). What happened?

Jan 4, 2015 Probably the same thing that happened to his rapping. He's shown that he can still occasionally put together verses that both sound good and are well written + flowed. Same deal with the hooks, except in a lot of tracks he just forgoes them altogether in favor of someone else.
