Guess we have a difference of opinions then, I don't think people saying what the Pats did was wrong is the same as people saying they don't deserve their super bowls or whatever.

Fitz, maybe it's true among your friends that are Pats fans or whatever, but I haven't heard anyone say that. I've heard people say what they did was stupid, but haven't heard anyone say it takes away from their past accomplishments.

Obviously a team is going to get less credit when they doctored footballs to their advantage all season. NFL is a f---ing joke anymore. Let's suspend a guy a year for smoking a joint but let a coach to continuously cheat for a decade now.

Hey, did you know that Bill Cowher authorized assistant coaches to spy on hand signals too?

Serious question. He admitted that, I hope you know this lol.

Proof? And everyone tries understanding teams signals. The problem with Belichick is he takes cheating to a whole new level.

He admits he had people doing it here. Doesn't admit to cameras.

    http://espn.go.com/blog/pittsburgh-steelers/post/_/id/4294/cowher-dismisses-impact-of-spygate

Jimmy Johnson, however, admits to using cameras in the 90's, and he said he learned it from a Kansas City assistant coach.

Point I'm making is, stealing signals is apart of the game. Whether you have assistant coaches watch them, or you video tape them. It doesn't help you win games. The problem wasn't if Belichick video taped signals, it was WHERE he videotaped that got him in trouble. Point blank.

If anything, "Deflate Gate" is worse, because it's tampering with equipment used in a game. Do I think it makes a difference? NO. Do I think the Pats are idiots IF they did this? Yes.

They should be penalized if they did it, because it's breaking a rule. They probably should be penalized harshly because it's their second offense. However, this has no effect on the outcome of the game. Receivers were wide open, Colts missed tackles, Pats made great blocks, etc etc etc.

it helps a lot tbh, take a pound or pound and half of air out and it becomes a lot easier to throw and catch. It's not like there throwing a flat football around just enough to grip it better.

Apparently it doesnt help Aaron Rodgers.

And going by Brady's second half compared to his first, it didnt help him either. Nobody will ever talk about that though.

But, Brady threw worst in the first half than in the 2nd half... He was basically flawless in the 2nd half... lol

but that doesn't mean s---, the point is it does help having a few pounds in it less then the allowed amount.

I put it on the same level as pitchers in baseball trying to using pine tar/ect. to get a better grip on the ball tbh

but just cuz he had a better second half then first doesn't really justify anything they still broke the rules.

There's a report saying that the Ravens told the Colts about the Patriots possibly doing this before the game. With how close Ravens/Pats was, that could have made a difference in that one if they did this same thing or maybe something else. I just hope the Pats aren't stealing signals or play calls during games or anything cuz that'd really be ridiculous.

honestly the best and fairest thing to do is ban Brady from the superbowl. he is obviously the one to blame and it would give the same amount of disadvantage to the themselves that they gave the colts.

I cant even believe this is still being talked about. I guess Blount couldn't be tackled because of the deflated balls.
