Feb 7, 2015 I think they have Red Box in grocery stores for movies....but not games. I'll have to recheck but my city (In Canada) is pretty much cleared out for video rental places, and if they are around they only rent movies.
Feb 8, 2015 Wow, after trying out Hotwire Battlefield Hardline is hilariously fun. I had a great time playing it. I really liked the dustbowl map more as I like to snipe so it was great to be sneaky sniping down drivers or pilots then stealing cars and driving around. The craziest thing that happened was a chopper flew down to the ground to interrupt one of our drivers. As they did I head shot sniped both the players hanging out from the chopper. So sick. I might actually wait for a price drop and end up getting it. Hotwire is Waaaaaaaaay better than heist.
Feb 8, 2015 I bought it a few days ago and already put 20 hours into it. The main quest line is generic as f--- but the gameplay is an incredible amount of fun. I don't want to spoil anything if you do pick it up, but the side quests are really cool and atmospheric. One quest has you searching a school for crayons to keep the children at The Tower (which is a 20 story building that is the player's main safe house) entertained, which leads you to meeting a group of survivors at the school and doing a quest for them. Techland did a great job with fleshing out the world. Let's say you see a police van in the middle of a street swarming with zombies. You probably can't take them on unless you're a high level (which kinda sucks because you 1 hit k--- everything), so you have a few options. You could throw some firecrackers down the street so they'll investigate the noise. You could molotov them. You could even throw the firecrackers into a puddle of oil from a knocked over barrel, igniting all the zombies that wander over to it. Or you could scout a nearby building (there's tons of interiors to loot) or alleyway, find a lone zombie, k--- him, then use his guts as camouflage, letting you wander through the crowd of zombies and pick the lock on the back of the van without them noticing you. You usually find a decent weapon in the back of police vans. You'll find medkits in ambulances, or you could break in to a pharmacy and search the place, or craft one from a bottle of alcohol and a box of gauze you found in an apartment or general store. The zombie AI is really fun to play around with too. They'll occasionally stumble off of roof tops, killing themselves when their head hits the pavement. Climbing over balconies and falling on top of you when you're busy looting some chests. You can even cut off both of their arms and watch them fall over when they lunge towards you trying to bite (or cut their legs off and watch them crawl around). There are airdrops too, in which you race against time to reach them before someone else (usually members of a rival faction/g---) does. That s--- barely scratches the surface though. It's a really fun game. There's co-op multiplayer too, but I haven't played it.
Feb 8, 2015 Yeah Dying Light sounds really cool. When I watched videos I didn't think much of it. But hearing things about it online it's peaked my interest. Though I'm going to wait for a price drop. I'm going to make myself not buy any new games as some other financial more priority things have come up where I don't want to spend too much money so for now I'm going to be sitting tight.

Feb 8, 2015 Yeah see I'm looking into getting back into online gaming. I've been a way from it for a while and I was thinking about getting CoD AW. I prefer the BF series but I hate that no one really plays together as a team in BF. I do like that I can jump into CoD by myself for hours and not have to worry about teamwork. If I had a squad or clan for BF I'd go BF4 all day. How much you selling CoD for? I see Amazon has it for $40 plus I have prime so I'm about ready to buy that at any moment.
Feb 8, 2015 Def. agree man. In Hotwire I was driving around honking at my teammates. They'd get in then I would drive them to the other stalemate cars so they could jump in and drive. Figure half off should be safe... though I sold Destiny for $35 3 weeks after it was released b/c NO ONE wanted to buy it for 55, then 50, then 45, then 40. I'm standing firm on my $40. EDIT: I do have a gift certificate for Bestbuy and reward points... but I don't want to spend it on a game I'd like to play. I usually save those for the games I MUST have as i usually wait out games until they're cheaper. I don't want to spend my rewards and gift cert. on Hardline as it seems it'll be fun but I tend to get stale of shooters after a couple months. MW2 was the only shooter that lasted a long time for me.... maybe because I'd play it with 3 other friends while now a days I play shooters alone as my one friend doesn't really like the BF style.

Feb 8, 2015 Got Dying Light with the season pass for 20 bucks on release day with that gamestop glitch. Haven't played it much yet though. Ready for Bloodborne though.
Feb 11, 2015 rented CoD AW to see if I can get into the MP. Been playing most of the morning and it's not bad.I really miss the simple CoD thoughss, Simple killstreaks and s---. No one uses a f---ing mic on PS4 though
Feb 11, 2015 since party chat got thrown in, no one's had a reason to. I find it way more convenient but i do sometimes miss the random encounters of a MW2 pre game lobby
