Feb 11, 2015 Based of what we have seen so far here is my best guess: Two brothers that are born from the same mother are separated early in life and become involved in different gangs. (Probably the Pirus and Crips) Eventually they meet up again and one of them shoots the other in a g----related hit and run. Upon later inspection he realizes who he killed and changes his life for the better. I'm probably reaching but goddam that would be sick
Feb 11, 2015 Was expecting some stan-ish nonsense but this is practical. IMO, Kendrick's ultimate goal for this album is to start to get blacks to look and analyze themselves instead of looking/pointing fingers at whites and racism. Although the racism needs to be acknowledged there's no way you tear it down in one big step. It takes a bunch of incremental steps, and it starts within black people and proceeds to be projected out to the world. Im just extrapolating from the last couplet in TBTB though.
Feb 11, 2015 My theory i that this is the story of the two brothers from GKMC, One gets shot (from the skit at the end of swimming pools) then the other brother is faced with a choice, to go down the path of revenge, or to change his life for the better.
Feb 11, 2015 The only thing is, that we know he ends up getting shot, cause of sing about me's first verse. However it's still a cool concept, my other theory s that they are two brothers/friends that choose different paths in life.
