Feb 22, 2015 He literally had Travis hop on a track just to yell STRAIGHT UP in the background. It's not aa prevalent as I thought it would be but you can tell he heavily f---s with Travis and that's kinda reshaped his whole sound (not drastically, it's a subtle influence, but an influence nonetheless)
Feb 22, 2015 Apparently Travis had a verse and he cut it, like he cut Ye's verse off of Blessed. I think Travis could have added to the song, but it was a good decision to cut back on guest verses so the album isn't so bloated with features - there are already quite a few. The only song that sounds anything like Travis is the one he's on IMO. What specifically did you think Travis influenced on this?
Feb 23, 2015 I feel like big sean thought of cutting them he said before that he goes on tracks with like kanye and jay and still manages to hold his own. So I guess what he did is recorded after the push from them and then just ditched their verses because he had something better than he would without the competition. I also feel like control had a big impact on the way the album was made
Feb 24, 2015 Great album. Didnt expect this from Sean. Production is awesome and he does his thing. Back to more rough lyrics and less party and stuff.
