i don't do passive aggressive you f---ing s--- stain. we were arguing and you caught feelings. There is absolutely nothing wrong with saying "Apple is garnering people who can't use PC's with a sound ability", because it's absolutely f---ing true. A large portion of their business model revolves around the whole 'ease-of-access' and 'user-friendly' thing. They are honestly marketing their Tech to people who don't know their way around a PC.

I don't see that in their marketing at all though. I don't believe they specifically target people who don't know their way around a PC. I think they target consumers who don't WANT to get around a PC. I worded that weird but I don't know how else to say it. People who can't be bothered to have root file systems in their face and all that extra non-sense that most people don't need.

Let me compare Android and iOS for a quick example. Some people would see the extra customization on Android as a bonus, and I'm not arguing that it isn't... for certain people. But others don't care and don't want to be bothered with all the extra options and customization Android gives you. They want something that is simplified and straight to the point. That's how I view MS to Apple.

    It's Apples to Oranges

My friend had an apple phone that broke. Had to go to an apple store only for them them to say they can't fix it. So she was deciding between a galaxy or stay with apple, kept telling her apple sucks and if anything breaks you'll have to go tnru s--- again. She finally got a galaxy. Only apple product I ever liked was the iPod. f--- everything else and their locked bs

See, our views are actually fairly similar, but mine's more against apple. I get what you're saying now and i'd also agree for the most part. Yeah most people, don't bother/dont want/dont need the extra customization/freedom that PC has as it's deemed "unnecessary" for what they want/need to do.
Although, in my opinion, if those same people instead of paying a premium bought a PC and researched it and found out about all the extra things you can do, that macs just can't, they'd be more satisfied. Honestly if I were to buy a mac, it would feel like i'm more-so paying to use their equipment and less like "This is my mac" because of all the physical limitations put on it. If say something in my PC broke, something as minor as the usb port, i could go out buy a replacement and fix it in the same day. If anything remotely similar to that happened to a Mac you'd have to take it to the apple store where it would more than likely be shipped off for a few days.

I've been a PC user majority of my life and I can honestly say that if I went over to using a Mac, I'd feel like I lost a whole lot of freedom. That's the point i'm trying to make here, I'm using MY PC right now. It's mine because I shaped it into what it is today. You could argue that your Mac is yours and you also shaped it into what it is today... But to me, it's different. Whenever I use a Mac (or any Apple product for that matter), it just feels like i'm locked into them. It's hard for me to explain what i'm trying to express here. It's one of those you have to learn from experience type deals. That being said though, ill admit the average person wouldn't even notice the extra freedom you have on a PC.

False, if u use a PC and know what you're doing youll never issues, like I never have. Macs just popular for its simple easue of use without needing to know anything. Nothing about it besides it being simple is better than pcsPC. And its been proven they can and do get viruses so don't bring up that old false bs

I feel it. We're just cut from a different cloth on this one. I will admit, I am looking into Windows for my next laptop and/or tablet as I like the multitasking and stylus it offers which would also be more useful for my schoolwork. I like the idea of a 2-in-1 so something like the Surface Pro 3/4 is on my radar. Any advice?

What kind of work are you doing/using it for?
I don't have much experience using tablets, but If you want a Laptop I recommend Lenovo. They have some of the best customer support and some of the most durable laptops i've seen. A lot of their newer range actually look like tablet/laptop hybrids so it might be perfect to look into.

I honestly think they both revolutionized the way we live. Ever since Bill was a teen, he was on point.

Running numbers in Excel, taking notes, typing up Word documents, light gaming like Civ, possibly some music editing/composing, putting Powerpoints together etc. I'm a sucker for aesthetics too coming from Apple. Is Lenovo designed well & crispy?

The DirectX Box was a sketchy idea, even though it was the most powerful system out at the time. Surprised they managed to pull something out of their a--- and still make a profit. Good old Bungie.

:khaled2: Yeah i'd definitely recommend Lenovo to you man. They have a lot of customization to them too when you order off their website. You can add things like touch-screen etc. As far as their design goes they're pretty good i'd say, they go for that 'simplistic' but 'fancy' kind of look. Their X series of laptops are pretty much Laptops as thin as mac book air's. They've fairly recently updated their range and site though, so you'll have to look around a bit. Pretty sure you'll find something on their site you'll like though man.

I'll definitely look into it. I forsure want a touchscreen on my next laptop as I heard it's one of those things that once you have it you can't go back. Portability is definitely important too me as well because I have a 15' Macbook now and it's a b---- to lug around. Good looks on the recommendation though :daps:

Don't know much about Bill Gates.

But Steve Jobs I thought was a truly great business man. I died because of his job ffs. Not that that is a good thing but it shows the dedication.
Apple reinvented everything, have people what they wanted and needed and done it well. Apple has been on a steady downfall since Steve Jobs died.
