"Teams that attract big name FA's"

Also one of those teams is guaranteed to win the lottery, theres no chance that Philly, Minnesota or Orlando win that s---. NBA will fix that.

Knicks gonna win it this year the way things are looking, Lakers would have a shot if they stopped this winning nonsense.

Has nothing to do with the %'s its who the NBA wants to win it. I think it will be the Knicks as well but my second guess is the Lakers. Ive wanted the Celtics to tank not because i thought they had a chance at the top pick, but because i wanted a top 5-6 pick.

Still think the percentages matter, the NBA will be more likely to give it to a team if they have say the 2nd or 3rd best percentage rather than 4th or 5th. Knicks will get it unless Lakers have a similar record then who knows. Although many think the lottery's suspicious, they don't want to make it too obvious so that's why I still think it matters where they finish even if it's rigged.

This is really the worst season I've ever been through as a Laker fan, it had optimism with the draft pick but it seems they're gonna mess that up now too. This season will truly be absolutely pointless from beginning to end if they lose their pick.

They were pretty reckless about giving it to the Cavs so I really don't think they give a f--- about looking suspicious

Expecting the Knicks to win it

True, but there has always been a lot of action behind the scenes between his camp and the front office. IMO he will be back for this playoff run if healthy.

Yeah, everyone knew the Cavs were getting it that year cuz of Lebron and that would make the best story.

Lakers deserve it this year tbh, still never got anything from the NBA since the whole CP3 bs, New Orleans(who also got screwed by that deal being cancelled) got the number 1 pick the next year, which was also predictable.

Hard to see it not being the Knicks though, they're definitely the favorites.

Like when they gave Derrick Rose to the Bulls that year despite them have a 1% chance of winning the lottery. Definitely had nothing to do with Rose being from Chicago.

If there's an obvious 'story line' they pretty much always go with that, but this year there isn't an obvious one at least that I can think of. So that's why I think they won't do something drastic like give the pick to a team with a low percentage.

Anyways, Raptors shot 1-19 in the 1st quarter and are currently getting blown out by 40 points at home lol. Yeah they're playing the Warriors but still, doubt anyone's still picking them to come out the east.

Definitely gonna be the Cavs or Hawks imo, have no hope for the Bulls being at 100%. Gasol and Rose are both wimps when it comes to playing with injuries. I'd say 80% chance at least it's the Cavs.

Anyways, Westbrook's having an amazing month and doing great again tonight. Thunder/Blazers 2nd half on espn now.

Lakers had me worried at first, but down 10 to the Bucks now. :emoji_thumbsup:

Refs really ruined the Blazers/Thunder game in the 4th quarter by calling all these ridiculous touch fouls, and some late calls. Most of them seemed to favor Portland, game was great until all the questionable calls started.

Westbrook is a beast, OKC is such a dangerous team when Durant's healthy. They could be the favorites to win it all tbh if they're 100%, doesn't matter what seed they get. They won't miss the playoffs.

Don't even wanna talk about the Lakers game....

*edit* Westbrook apparently might be injured now, got a knee to the face late in the game. Thunder are in deep s--- if he's out for a while, d--- what a rough year for them. Durant, Kanter and I think 1 other guy are out too.

Anthony Mason died. Pretty sure it was from a heart attack. Not sure if drugs were involved. He was only 48.

RIP Anthony Mason. Vital part of my childhood fascination with the Knicks.

Speaking of KG, he bought 1,000 tickets for fans for Monday's game. The first 500 people to get them online tomorrow morning each get a pair of tickets, very cool of him to do. :emoji_thumbsup:
