    It's different. Don't expect another GKMC going into this. Good Kid, at its very core, was pure hip hop. This album, while retaining the hip hop core, is soooo much more musically. Black music at its finest. Different story also. Looks at a bigger picture than just Kendrick's life like GKMC did.

    It's a decent album. I'm just disappointed that I couldn't give any song off it a 9 or a 10 rating. Nothing really stood out majorly. Definitely some nice verses and flows though. Some chill hooks.
