Yeah but illmatic is always classified as the GOAT. imo this album is going to do everything illmatic did and MORE. this is the new goat album. a little premature? yes. but mark my words, it will be looked at as the new illmatic (GOAT ALBUM) in the coming years

illmatic was just a ridiculously good album, it didnt have a crazy over arching story, great political and philisophical messages
& I definitely do not remember Illmatic giving me THE FUNK
.. that being said, im not saying either or is better than the other. comparing them feels odd to me.

I'm glad man. Its gonna take a while for a lot of people. More than a day for sure lol.

Not that you were, but I cant take anyone shi--ing on this release already. like for f---s sake, that's worse than calling it an immediate classic. I see so many people on my facebook shi--ing on this album when it might actually be his best release.

I can't believe I love "i" now. Something about it recently struck a chord, definitely helps that in the context of the album it plays a big part. Shoutout to that First Impressions write-up for bringing that to attention.

nah bruh as always I don't care what someone's opinion is -- as long as they defend it. So it's not like I'm calling someone who said "i dont really like jazz" close minded or short sighted, I'm calling out the multitude of people I see just saying its a straight up bad album, without explain why.

Wesley's Theory, For Free, For Sale, King Kunta, i, u, The Blacker The Berry, How Much a Dollar Cost, Alright, Momma, Complexion, Mortal Man... Holy f--- the whole album is amazing.
