SImple question. How did you discover this real artist who goes by the name of Kendrick Lamar?

Me, I was in a store, never heard s--- about Kendrick and I saw his album GKMC, i liked the cover, so I buy it. Greatest decision ever.

yikes, it was kinda impossible to not know him after gkmc. I knew him after he released Section 80 and i started f---in with the whole TDE camp at that point.

I think I stumbled over HiiiPower on youtube in like late 2011. Then bought Section80 and that was surely enough to make me a fan.

I heard some news about 'The Recipe' video and then i just heard the song. So i listened to his older things and then GKMC and that's it. It's funny that video is still not released lol.

everyone on s80 wasy hyping him when i joined i listened to gkmc twice,i wasnt hooked,koolo told me to listen to it a few more times and for some reason i was determined to like kendrick so i listened like 3 more times and realised hes prolly the best rapper alive rn

I might add the first time I heard kendrick I thought he was trash. It was the Monster Freestyle. The way he was spazzing with his voice I didn't like at first. Never peeped him again until my homie was talking about section 80.
