I've done the same thing as you, except I've cut soda for water, milk and juice. Only time I ever drink soda is when I go out to eat.

No soda bro. Water, flavored water, Propel, there's plenty of 0 calorie drinks that taste good that aren't diet soda.
Milk and 100% fruit juice is good.
Skinless chicken is good.. too much bread is bad but you could make chicken/turkey sandwiches as meals.
Having multiple small meals throughout the day is better than having 3 large ones.
Huge part of it depends on if you workout at all while dieting.. you will lose weight by cutting out soda but anymore than that and a calorie deficit is crucial which is from working out/running. 90% of a diet is working out and just being active. You could even run 1 mile per day if you don't lift weights.

Depends on how serious you are about it. You gotta count calories.
Say you wanna lose 1-2 pounds a week then you need to lose 500 calories per day depending on your current age/weight/height.
If you eat/drink 2500 calories a day, to lose weight, you need to eat/drink 2000 calories a day, or workout and lose that 500.(or do both like a boss)
(I say eat/drink cause liquid is a part of your calories count too, it's just kinda water weight in a way)

Would need more information about your daily routine/eating habits to really get specific.

First thing I'm going to see is how the diet sodas effect & If I don't see any progress i'll try & switch to something different, I was thinking soda water they have no calories or sugar either.

For food I make sand witches is the only time I use bread (obviously) & I only have those every now & then, I heard that cutting out Pasta too like Spaghetti would help. I can probably do the walk a day thing as you mentioned, don't know about weight lifting lol. I weigh just below 200 (199). I heard like 160 around there is good enough for me for my height & age.

Gotta be honest man diet soda is kinda like trading one sugar for another sugar. It tastes the same because it uses artificial sugar/sweetener which is literally the same thing as normal sugar, it just makes the drink have 0 calories. What weight lose you would lose from the 0 calories, you regain from the artificial s--- they put it in. It really isn't better for you. Look it up lol

How many soda cans do you have a day? 12oz
THE BEST way to lose weight from - only by what you drink - is to stop drinking normal soda, slowly switch to diet (if you truly feel thats needed) and slowly start adding water into your diet. How much soda do you drink a day? Maybe this is more serious than you letting on lol
Say you drink 1 soda with every meal and have 3 meals a day, start drinking 2 sodas for 2 meals and water for the last. Keep doing this until you slowly replace water for all meals. Before you get to that point, the 1 soda a day will be really good and you will like yourself more for limiting yourself. It'll get to 1 soda a week, month whatever lol It's your free day. It's a lifestyle change man.
It will get to the point where water taste better anyways. Really refreshing.

Thanks man i'll try that. Like you said I do have a soda every time I have a meal, there was once were I drank 24 pack in 1 week, so by limiting the amount of soda is a good start, i'll try the water too.

Pop and diet pop is the worst s--- you can put into your body. Diet pop is even worse than regular pop, drinking too much of it leads to brain cancer.

It's hard to give up pop i know, specially when you go out to eat but it's a huge start.

Run 5x a week, at least a mile a day and build up to 3-5. A mile will only take 20 mins of your day including prep time. Cut out soda completely. Buy a fitbit and get 10,000 steps a day or more, no matter what. That's the amount needed at a minimum for a healthy walking amount typically. For eating, follow what the other have said, it's hard to get specific. I cut 15 lbs the last few months just from doing these things, back at my normal weight.

Exercise at least 15 minutes a day (seriously, it's just 15 minutes) and avoid carbs like the plague. Yes, it's that easy.

It's not about dieting or dramatically increasing exercise. It's about changing your lifestyle permanently.

My weight would always fluctuate depending on the season. I'd get motivated after winter to get back into decent shape and eat better for a few months and slack off when I plateau'd. The last year I have stopped drinking soda, even diet and switching to primarily water and that was a gamechanger. I had always know soda was bad for me but never stuck with it until recently. In college, there was a lot of empty calories from drinking and cutting that out kept the weight off and prevented it from coming back. With diet and exercise I was able to get down about 30lbs a month but when I was active, after a while my diet went to crap and I'd gain most of it back when I grew tired of it.

The thing that's been working for me is eating routinely and the right stuff. I eat a good breakfast, and fruits and protein bars to stay up on energy and then small dinners and I dont eat after 7PM. Cutting out carbs and eating the right stuff showed tremendous results.

Don't f---ing drink soda. Or diet soda. Artificial sweeteners in sodas have to be processed by your liver to be turned into natural sugars your body can actually use, so they are thought to cause liver damage (from overworking) and in some cases lymphoma. ALSO they f--- up your teeth and bad oral hygiene/health has the potential to cause heart disease. Just don't f---ing drink it.

Also limit your carbohydrates and increase fiber intake. This means eat more vegetables (broccoli, celery, and spinach, yo) and stay the f--- away from potatoes, chips, fries, white rice, white bread, most cereals, etc.
If you're going to eat bread or rice then make sure it's whole grain so it actually has fiber. A good rule of thumb for whole grain foods is for every 100 calories you want like 2g of fiber.

Also drink 0% milk. It has all the calcium of whole milk with none of the fat. I know it tastes watery, but after a while you get used to it. Whole milk is for calves and after they drink it they become cows. Don't be a cow.

Drink 2 glasses of water with each meal it will help you get full faster.

Eat your food more slowly because it helps you know when you're not hungry anymore so you can stop eating. Try to chew each bite 15-20 times before swallowing.

Eat foods with a low glycemic index. They stay in your digestive tract longer and keep you full longer. Unsalted mixed nuts are great for this. A handful or two will hold you over for a couple of hours.

Eat smaller portions. Its better to have 7 "palm sized" meals a day than having three big a--- meals. It keeps your metabolism going and more ready to digest food.

Chicken, fish, and extra lean meat are great. Keep in mind that chickens are like humans in that half of their fat is stored just under the skin. Don't eat the skins and you will save yourself from half of the chicken's fat.

Fruits are good but remember they are only sweet because of the amount of sugar in them. Get a few servings of fruit a day and don't overdo it.

Dieting alone won't make you healthy, but it's definitely a part of it. Try to do aerobic excercise (swimming, jogging, boxing, jump rope, etc.) for 30 minutes 3-5 days a week and you'll be well on your way. I'm a fatass too and by doing all the s--- I listed I've lost 12lbs in the last month alone. Granted, most of it is water weight at first, but I'm gonna keep at it and it will keep coming off slowly but surely.

    PS: I don't even f---ing miss soda.

When you are chewing, your body is expecting to be getting food.

    Example:

You eat a meal and then have a stick of gum to freshen your breath. When you are chewing, your body still thinks that meal is going on never fully allowing yourself to go into digestion mode and break down all of the food you ate. You never fully experience the benefit of the nutrients and fiber from what you are eating thus making you hungrier sooner. Look it up.
