Mar 18, 2015 Eminem without a doubt. His first three albums are some of the greatest hip hop albums of all time and helped change how white rappers are viewed in hip hop. His first three albums were near perfect, while Kendrick's only monumental album was GKMC.
Mar 18, 2015 wow at this pool,if eminem was black this wouldnt even be a discussion,alot of racist prick in here riding kendrick cause of his color skin. eminem stan>>>>> all kendrick discography. first eminem 3 album(including devils night) is the best streak of classic a single artist had in music history, so proud I was old enough to witness this,didnt appreciate it enough at the time tho, had so many great artists back then, if kendrick was from that time hed be an average at best(kind of a nelly style rapper) and in no way signed to aftermath.
Mar 18, 2015 Eminem and it's not even close. Kendrick in his prime isn't half as good as Eminem was in his prime. I hate the guy now but there was a time where he literally couldn't release something less than perfect if he tried.
Mar 18, 2015 fun fact: when I was like 10-11? I asked my parents to bring me to the limp bizkit concert (it was on haloween night) first anger managment tour I think? guess who was 2nd act? M&M. it was just a few months after the release of mmlp.I feel so lucky to have witnessed this artist at his total prime. u guys must feel jealous in here? dont you?

Mar 18, 2015 This can't be real ;( make it f---ing stop hahaha. I love Kendrick and I agree s80 was great and gkmc was classic but he's not even in the same league as a prime Eminem. People get caught up in new things so bad lol, do you remember 99-03? like there will never be anything like it. Tpab is so d--- overhyped if literally anyone else besides k dot released it they'd pick apart all the short comings of the album. If gkmc is a 10/10 tpab is at most a 7

Mar 19, 2015 kendrick. i'd rather listen to an instructional album on how to become a black panther than an instructional album on how to k--- your spouse. seriously tho, as much as I used to love Eminem, his albums haven't aged well for me. when i go back and listen to those old joints, as much as i respect them, i just don't want to listen to them b. all 3 of those albums are 9-10/10s but so are kendrick's first 2 (i can't rate TPAB just yet, haven't given it enough spins).

Mar 19, 2015 incomparable really. 99-03 Eminem had this unique ability to seamlessly blend commercial/pop appeal and hardcore traditional lyric-centric emceeing. His flow, bet selection, content, hook-writing ability and creativity created quite literally the perfect storm, everything came together at once. Kendrick is close, no doubt (I still think that just from the first few listens that TPAB may very well be a contender for another album of the decade, along with GKMC). but he may there are some things he just will never be able to do as well as Shady.
