Where's the proof? Everyone at my school that I know are still playing Drakes mixtape, and I literally don't personally know anyone playing Kendrick's cd. Kendrick's cd isn't enjoyable to my ears. I don't feed off the whole "white people still owe us more" concept.

That's just an opinion. I don't see anything impressive about Kendrick's lyrics. I mean yeah, I'll agree Kendrick is a better writer, but that doesn't make his music better.

I can't even take you serious, when you're using grammar like that. With eminem being in your avy, do you consider him a 'King' of rap. You do know he hasn't made a good song in over a decade now so you could probably change your avy.

I think the king of rap would sell more records than others. That's exactly what Drake is doing right now.

Kendrick for sure. Set another standard for the albums to be released in 2015. IYRTITL was surprisingly good considering it was a mixtape from drake, but imo Views from the 6 has to be innovative, be more conscious, and be better than any project drake ever released. So with those standards it's safe to say kendrick will remain the king of hip hop

No, it's not all about popularity, who cares if he sold more records. His lyrics ain't spectaculair, he has no content, no message to give to the youth, nothing that distinct him from other rappers. Like spurs19 said, he is a popstar, and popstars are very populair and sell a lot of records, that doesn't say s---.
