Mar 31, 2015 Nintendo is gearing up for a new console for 2016. They have pushed Zelda U back to 2016. Hopefully They push all the big game titles due out this year to 2016 and put them as launch titles. Having the top 5-10 game's on the wii U moved to the next console would be legit as well. I wonder what Nintendo's next move will be. I won't be surprised if they try to take the hand held s--- to the next level. Like streaming Nintendo NX to a 3DS or something. Mar 31, 2015 Nintendo needs to stop making consoles. There is no way in h--- they are making anything that will propel their general consumers past 12 year olds. They cannot compete with ps4/x1. Stick to handhelds, and make some beautiful looking Mario games on the ps4.

Mar 31, 2015 People read into that slideshow with the NX name on it to much. Most likely the NX is a third option for gamers, alongside Wii U and 3DS, if not a 3DS replacement. Wii U won't be replaced until Zelda U comes out for the Wii U and Nintendo milks the console and than rebrands. A new console will be either Q4 2017 or Q4 2018 no sooner. You obviously have no knowledge in how the video game industry works. While Nintendo has had two underpowered consoles in exchange for gimmickry, they have traditionally been ahead of the curb in power, and graphic capability. No way Nintendo would work develop for PlayStation anywho, Sony will be bankrupt by 2020. All three consoles had lackluster launches and are just starting to pick up in the software area. The Wii U controller is not the reason it was overlooked, it's the fact that the name and second screen made casual gamers think it was a Wii add on. Gamecube controller was dope tho, so when the next console comes out, revert to and updated GC controller. They need to ressurect IPs and launch like this: - New Mario Party (respectable and fun like 1 through 5) - New 3D Mario (ala 64 or Sunshine, no linearness like Galaxy either) - New Smash (focus on Online rather than local play) - New Mario Kart (done well) - New Star Fox - New Metroid FPS (emphasis on Online Multiplayer) Basically, they could succesfully fix and redeem their name by moving into the age of Online Gaming, and make well done games for the IPs. New System should be the first, yet most powerful console of the next generation of gaming.

Nobody wants to play a god d--- wii with cartoon graphics when they can play a ps4 or x1 with phenomenal f---ing groundbreaking graphics that Nintendo can't hope to compete with.
