Apr 10, 2015 It's probably a feature, and here's why: Throughout the early half of the verse, the point of view is clearly male: "Side b---- about to let wifey know" "I'll f--- a b----, go and find another b----, and I'll never trust a b----" etc. Than, he gets to the part where he says: "What you b------s fighting for?" that's where he transfers to the female perspective, poking fun at them, in a exponentially more whiney tone: "I can't even" "I heard you f----- that n----- well I f----- that n----- too and he probably didn't tell you that's what sucka n----s do and if he hadn't texted me he woulda never f----- with you" He's talking from the female perspective about himself, if you recall the "Side b---- about to let wifey know" the whole verse is about his desirability and managing a side hoe.
Apr 10, 2015 did you not read above. It's clearly not. The only reason he said "I heard you f----- that n----- while I f----- that n----- too" is because he was telling it from the two woman who are fighting's perspectives.
Apr 12, 2015 OP's theory actually makes a lot of sense. I honestly thought the "new rihanna in the front" meant FourFiveSeconds and I completely agree on the track and how it SWITCHES into a female perspective
Apr 12, 2015 It makes sense, both Kendrick and J. Cole have done this Sing About Me I'm Dying of Thirst and Lost Ones. It worked well on those songs though because the subject matter was serious and emotional, here it's superficial which makes it kinda wack. If it woulda been more like Bittersweet's female perspective which also had emotion that would've been dope.
Apr 12, 2015 This is just Rihanna's style now. Word is the girl talking at the end of the song is the 20 year old girl that wrote BBHMM. If so, it's likely she wrote this song too since the writing style is extremely similar. Also: (lyrics from BBHMM)
Apr 12, 2015 this is why i didnt think for a second its not his track..all i heard is first 30 secs and i thought its clearly for him...but then that f----- a n----- part came in
Apr 12, 2015 all up until that point it sounds like a Kanye song but that part hits in and f---ing h--- it had my dying lmaoo
