Apr 15, 2015 Its interesting how he is changing his flow from time to time.. Makes you wonder whats gonna come up next.. That XV was was my least favorite but didnt bothered me that much as some may say.. I wanna hear that phenomenal track.. I think it's going to be smthing different again (hopefully better)
Apr 15, 2015 From someone who's rapped a little bit, I really don't t think people know how hard it is to give yourself a certain flow for a whole project. Like most people just use their style or write to the beat and see where it takes them. He has the ability to use a similar style flow for a whole project and that in itself is genuinely impressive
Apr 15, 2015 Exactly thats why I said it this way, it comes from the same experience.. And its very difficult to try smthing from scratch and maintain it like this
Apr 15, 2015 I like the flow, I have no issues with it. The people here that just want everyone to be the same all the d--- time is odd to me to be honest. As I have said before in here, it seems like some of you like rapping to/with him and now that you Can't Keep Up, you don't like it.... I did like the flow on 'Say My Name' but enjoy something new as well. I think the lyrics are important and how they are delivered as well.
Apr 15, 2015 I'm going to comment from the standpoint of a current (and career-long) Stan. Now, don't get that twisted for someone who is a fan of his new flow. It's dope BUT my favorite thing about Eminem was his ability to blend seamlessly into a beat like he was physically part of that b----. Every song had a different flow and it was exciting to look forward to a single or feature or throwaway radio verse. Now it's the same nearly every time and while I admire his technical ability and skill I'm no longer as excited as I used to be. Songs have to 'grow' on me now. While I still collect and hoard anything Eminem, I'm no longer as excited as I used to be. In my opinion, his Relapse era flow was better than this s--- he always uses now. Then again, I f---in loved Relapse, lol. That's the last Eminem album I f---in LOVED. That revelation makes me sad, lmfao. That said, he's still a dope f---ing rapper and can spit entire circles around anyone in the game right now. Edit - I also hate that he explains bars by saying 'in other words'...pisses me off every g.d. time.
Apr 15, 2015 ShadyXV's flows were ok. As long as they aren't that stuttery/stop and go it's at least listenable. I liked ShadyXV (the song), Vegas, etc. The stop and go is the absolute worst
Apr 15, 2015 From someone who doesn't like MMLP 2, Shady XV and Recovery, I surprisingly enjoyed his verse on Best Friend more than most. The flow seems to work for me on there for some reason. However he does need to quit with the flow. I dunno why he didn't stick to his Relapse flow and just get rid of the accent if he didn't like the accent. His flow on most of the songs on Relapse is great
Apr 15, 2015 ^ I am sick AF of it. Literally--and I really mean this--for the first time since I first heard Eminem, I'm currently genuinely disliking "what he's doing" or "where he's going" with what threadstarter called his "super show off flow" I wanna hear him "FLOW" like Business. Or Hailie's Song. Or Role Model. Or B Please 2. Or even Relapse (flow-wise). His XV flow is <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< I read about half of his rapgenius annotations a week or two ago, and he extensively wrote about all the XV songs how he loves trying to cram as many words into a bar as possible "like a puzzle." Going back to 98, while admirably (respectfully) he's always had the same "like a puzzle" attitude toward multi's , he always had a smooth-feeling FLOW prior to XV. His current XV flow makes me want to rage
Apr 16, 2015 Accents Choppy flow fast rap And you still want Old eminem flow / voice back? no Let him develop even more
