its irrelevant to this case, but not to my, i guess, "moral" pov lol. i can understand their need for guns in their day to day but bringing weapons onto a campus is a no go for me, just as profiling someone is

doesnt excuse the way in which they were target and arrested

You can register a gun unless you're already a felon. One of them was, but they can afford body guards. Let's not pretend people with their kind of money have to resort to that. Is it really profiling when they have Yoouttube videos with ARs? Lol

I think it's hypocritical to appreciate raps about the behavior but shame the behavior itself, but let's not pretend they got treated unfairly here.

The alarming thing is that this kind of targeting happens regularly. It's discriminating, and most of the time not based on evidence/suspicion. I don't know more about the situation at hand, but it doesn't change anything.

The police does that everywhere.

i dont really have an opinion lol, but i think what WPG was saying was that this kind of scenarios are orchestrated in anticipation of artists like this. i.e. profiling

there were narcotics investigators waiting for them at the venue before they got there. i'm reporting on this.

i also think it is naive to take probable cause stuff like "the potent smell of marijuana" at face value given the circumstances.

Alright well stuff like this:
"Migos couldn't have performed with stuff on them so that means 12 had a search warrant in advance."
Isn't even correct. Suspicion is enough for a search of a vehicle. Smelling weed is reasonable grounds.
