May 4, 2015 I now need some advice on dealing with an injury. I've built up enough stamina to run for approx 30mins but my left knee has been in agony for about a week. I'm assuming from the impact to the ground that my body was previously not used to. I'm using Deep Heat and strapping it up. I can mostly walk on out fine but going up out down stairs is really bad news. Thing is though, after less than 48hrs it feels perfectly normal again and I go back to the gym and f--- it up again. Is there anything I can do to make it better properly? Or is there any other form of cardio I can do to burn fat without putting the pressure on my knee? I enjoy running the most so would obviously much prefer to fix this than find something else. And if anyone cares, I've lost nearly 7kg in the 5 weeks I've been doing this for. Hopefully physically start seeing the results on my body soon.

May 5, 2015 An exercise bike would be what u could do for a few weeks. Its what I did when Ive had knee injuries.
May 5, 2015 There are still other decent youtube channels but def agree that the industry is messed up, structured on lies and deceit, unfortunately if these people reveal the truth they'll lose sponsors and whatnot, I just think they should avoid the question instead of making false statements. it's just hard to tell who is and who isn't on it anymore, you can't. Also there is a bit of bioscience, and people just tryna push on useless supplements to gain money, it's just a s--- industry altogether. Candito training is def one of my fave channels and I'd recommend him to anyone to subscribe to, learnt some good info from his channel. Dude's a beast.
May 7, 2015 What is a good and effective way to gain weight? I currently weigh 157 pounds. I would like to get to 180 before basketball season starts in November. I've kinda been lazy af when it comes to working out but I'm fully gonna commit to it this time. The thing is I never knew the right kind of diet to follow or the right supplements to buy. A lot of the information I got on the internet hasn't helped me out much. I'm gonna read the rest of this thread so I'd still like some suggestions.
May 15, 2015 Just saw this. Here's the ingredient list: https://www.completenutrition.com/sports-nutrition/taze-3/
May 21, 2015 Personal fitness achievement made today, 5,000 yards in the pool nonstop under 90 minutes.
May 21, 2015 Do any of yall measure your body fat %? which method do yall use? I have a ballpark just based on definition, but I'm curious to get at least a semi accurate percentage. I've tried the fat caliper thing, but I don't trust my own readings. I heard of a place that did hydrostatic weighing nearby for cheap so i might try that since it's supposed to be super accurate. Anybody try any other methods?
May 22, 2015 I just go from my own knowledge, occasionally ask others what they would rate my bf incase my own thoughts are inaccurate Charts kinda gay since it doesn't have 8/9%BF but this is just a general guideline for you to compare, they could've got some better physiques past 10% lol smh
May 22, 2015 Yeah, that's what I've been doing too, just making an informed decision. I might try that hydrostatic thing, just cus i'm curious to get an actual number. it's pretty cool, they weigh you while you're submerged under water. I've never tried it before but from what i hear they do it for $30 so it can't hurt much to try.
May 26, 2015 Depends on which muscle group, like I know I get BAD T-Rex syndrome (your arms are bent like a T-Rex and it hurts to straighten them) if I over work my biceps and triceps. There are some stretched to do immediately after you're done. I tend to do those and it does actually help a lot. But if its an all body thing, buy some Epsom salt. Its like $3 for a 2lbs bag and just put like 1/4 of the bag in a warm bath and stay in for like 10-15 mins. That should help too, especially after leg day.
Jun 2, 2015 Haven't done dead lifts in a while cuz I hurt my back. That delayed muscle onset soreness is a b----.
Jun 2, 2015 Did them today, back is aching a little but meh. I never use a belt , I feel it's helped strengthen my core alot in the long run.
Jun 4, 2015 Does anyone here squat four plates? Any tips? Finding it hard as f--- to get it, everything else progresses at a rate I'm happy with
Jun 5, 2015 Don't really follow a specific program . I usually do... - A warm up set with the bar - 10 reps or so 1 plate a side - 10 reps with 2 plates, - Then i usually s---t for 285lbs/130kg or 308lbs /140kg and probably do like 4 working sets on this weight, 140 kg I'm barely getting 3 reps and it literally feels like I have the world on my back lol. It's starting to frustrate me now. I NEED to get it to 405 lbs/180kg by end of this year. I think part of the problem may be because I do deadlifts the day before on backday? And my hams are often quite tightish already on the following day (leg day)... Maybe I should just do deadlifts on Leg day? but I'm trying to get my deadlift to a certain weight so it's one of my main focuses. I dunno... Thinking about squatting twice a week perhaps, it's just too far behind
