May 11, 2015 Thing is, if rap was a sport then Eminem would be one of the best for sure, jamming as many syllables as possible into as small a time frame while using all those good literary techniques we learned in high school is impressive on a technical level, but none of that matters if the rest of the sound doesn't hold up. Also, there is more to rapping than technicality. As I've said before, the ability to flow without inpersonating Christopher Walken would greatly help his music, as would better production.
May 11, 2015 To me his best skill is pretty much his ability to create albums. That they are so full and cohesive. Every album sounds so different, fresh, experimental and brave when you compare one to the other. I don't care if there are many people that work on the album or that he uses ghost writers . It is always wholesome and the fact that everyone can use others just as much as Kanye doesn't change the fact that they aren't creating the same caliber of music. And you know it.
May 11, 2015 Kanye is the best artist of our generation. Can't think of anybody that comes close tbh. His success rate is outstanding.
May 11, 2015 TBH Kanye does really have a lot of cringeworthy lines, but I wouldn't go as far to call him C or D grade. More like B to B+ maybe
May 11, 2015 bunch of j cole fans in here calling kanye "a B+" rapper. go listen to new slaves and come back.
May 11, 2015 lol making a good song is more substantial than having one s--- line is it not? unless you meant you can find a s--- line in every good kanye song? because thats probably not accurate either
May 11, 2015 untrue, obviously I've never seen anyone as schizo in their thoughts on an artist as you are with Kanye lol
