Lmao. Ben was actually innocent with no evidence against him unlike Brady.

Do you really think the pats stand a chance? Their defense is no where near capable of playing against Ben and his wideouts. You guys lost Revis and still think your defense is solid? Yikes!!!! Plus your offense will be destroyed by the Steelers week one without Brady.

They lost someone else good on defense too I think, but can't remember who. Pats are gonna be missing Brady but aren't the Steelers gonna be without Bell too? He's by far their best player so that's a pretty equal blow.

Steelers will be ok without Bell against the pats. If they played a harder team week one, I would be a little worried.

I got tagged on fb saying that the Pats are gonna be trading for Claiborne from Dallas?

I don't know much about him, so I'm not that hyped about it.

he's been a disappointment. he hasn't lived up to expectations....especially considering how high he was taken in the draft.

the good news is....he's still young enough that he MIGHT can turn things around

@Enigma could tell you more than I could tho

@Fitz Claiborne is a great talent, he was one of the best CB prospects coming out of college in recent memory but he has been a pretty big disappointment. A lot of that falls on the Cowboys as an organization though, we drafted him to play predominately man to man in Rob Ryan's scheme and then after a season we threw him in a Tampa 2 scheme that he was completely unfamiliar with. He's played for 4 years and has had to play with 3 different defensive coordinators already so yeah.... You really can't expect a young player to develop and thrive if you're constantly changing the scheme he's playing in, also you have to take into account the Cowboys haven't had the best pass rush recently either. With that being said though, he hasn't played any where near up to expectation either. Even when he got put in man to man situations he'd get beat way to often. Your biggest concern should be his health because he's really injury prone and last year he got a really serious knee injury I think it was. I honestly can't see the Cowboys trading him because we need the depth at CB, unless the Patriots were willing to give up a 3rd rounder or something like that for him which would be ridiculous lol.

Not only do i think they stand a chance but the odds makers have the Pats as the favorites. I would probably be embarrassed by that if i were you.

lol imagine if you lost Big r--- and we still had Brady? would beat you by a hundred.

while i'm not claiming this is a fact, it's not an equal blow IMO.

    is bell really good? sure.

but QB's have a MUCH bigger impact on the game....ESPECIALLY QB's who are as good as tom brady.

point is, losing brady clearly hurts more than losing bell

Well 'pretty equal' doesn't exactly mean equal but I think it's close. Obviously you probably know how highly I view QBs since every year the Vikings didn't have a good one, I wanted them to draft one and I think it's not only the most important position in football, but the most important position in all of sports. But if there's any RB that has near value of a QB, imo it's Bell. He's a huge part of the running and passing game and their offense isn't nearly the same without him. To me his value is close to that of a QB's.

This Steelers/Pats game is week 1 too and if there's a time when Brady's gonna struggle, it's probably gonna be early in the year so losing him earlier in the year probably isn't as damaging as losing him in more important games later on. Pats are gonna make the playoffs either way while the Steelers need all the help they can get.

you really think that a QB with no REAL game experience will be able to do enough to beat a team with a very good QB in big ben?

i mean anything is possible........but it's not like the pats have some stud RB or WR to make your backup QB's job any easier. they don't.

plus the pats defense clearly got worse in the offseason

Do you know more then Vegas Timmy? i mean read my post...

They have the game as a pick em or slight edge to the Pats.

But yes as someone who has seen Jimmy play, yes i think they can win.

Steelers D is bad now. You are right though Jimmy doesn't have any studs like Gronk or Edelman to throw too.

@redsoxx Idgaf what Vegas says and the odds will change by September. I wish Brady did start first game so the steelers d would r--- him. The guy will have to use actual legal footballs for once
@TimmyT Bell is a top 3 rb in the league.

Btw guys, I've heard from good sources that Brady would give Randy Moss tar to wear on his gloves so we mise we'll dismiss that successful year.

Ben isn't even on the same level as Brady, the only thing he has going for him is his rings. Ben has only made 2 Pro Bowls and has never been placed on any recognized All-Pro or All-Conference team. He’s never even received one vote for MVP. Now why don't you look at what Brady has done in his career.

    @Sephiroth ......who do you like?

@redsoxx .....i don't care much about vegas odds....how do i even know if that is before or after the brady suspension was annonouced?

no, you're right...bell is a huge part of the steelers offense.......mainly because he helps them be less predictable. they're actually a balanced attack when bell is in there.

personally, i don't see how the pats can beat pittsburgh without brady even with the steelers missing bell. i mean i've seen crazier things happen....but it's just not too likely IMO.

i'm not saying the steelers will blow them out....but they're def gonna win

i know he is. my post wasn't meant to sound like i'm discrediting bell.....because i'm not.

all i was saying......certain positions have a bigger impact than others.....that's all.

Steelers/Pats is in New England too I believe. I don't know, I'd say that game is about 50/50, could really go either way. A lot might depend on Jimmy G.

@say my name , what accomplishments of Brady's do you feel are legit if you're discrediting the Moss years too?
