Going to any concerts this summer?

    I'm going to an Aerosmith (with living colour as the opening act) concert in July and then a Kid rock concert in early September. I'm not a huge fan of either one but I love outdoor concerts and both of these shows are outdoors, plus I figured these shows would be fun too. I'm also sick of going to rap concerts for 90% of my shows so wanted to go to some more rock concerts.

    Aerosmith I actually saw way back in 1998 when I was as kid and I love a few of their classic songs. I'm also excited to see living colour as the opening act since I love the song 'cult of personality', downloading their greatest hits album now so hopefully I'll like some more songs on there too.

    Kid rock I've never seen live but always kinda wanted to see since it seems he does a good mix of crazy hype songs and laid back songs, also love a few songs of his and downloading his newest album, hopefully I'll like a few tracks on it.

    So what concerts are you going to this summer if any? Summer's always a good time for concerts especially if you're like me and enjoy outdoor shows. I'm also considering going to Sublime in late august but it's a couple hours away so not sure I'll be able to make it.

    Also went to Lana Del Rey last week. I would like to see a rap concert but no one I like is coming here, as far as I know (except Big Sean, but it's a fortune since it's part of the Summer's End music festival)

    f---, just looked up Taylor Swift tour dates after I saw your post and saw she's coming to Seattle (few hours away) August 8th. Tickets aren't even as bad as I thought they'd be. I'd like to go but doubt I'll be able to especially since I'm already going to these other 2.

    Wish I chose Swift over Aerosmith tbh, f---.

    Gonna try to make it somehow, it's on a weekend so maybe I can.

    Yup it's finally tour season :sad1:

    I actually went to U2 concert last week.

    Over the next couple months I'm gonna see Van Halen, tesla, the foo fighters, ACDC, ringo starr and the Scorpions.

    Can't f---ing wait

    I might go to this free Big KRIT concert in Brooklyn. The only time I saw KRIT live was when he got booed 5 years ago.

    NYC Summerstage and Celebrate Brooklyn park concerts are a great thing and very cheap. I've been going to the Rock Steady concerts for the past couple of years, not sure yet if I'm going this year. Waiting to see the full lineup. The last concert I attended was Your Old Droog's debut concert last September. I've reached a point where I've seen most of my favorite artists live, I'm getting very selective with regards to shows.

    If this concert happened on the weekend, I'd be more inclined to go. Well, if it were cheaper than $35 too. I've never paid more than $30 for a show.

    Bonnaroo in a couple weeks to see Kendrick headline and many others. So far that's it for the summer though
