May 25, 2015 not sure I get the question became a fan a while ago after listening to the full Swimming Pools, so I checked out GKMC and loved it... first album I was tagging along for though was TPAB. Was there for the hype, the release... that kinda s---.
May 26, 2015 i had heard of kendrick for a little while, but the first actual song of his i heard (excluding features) was ronald reagan era, leading up to the release of section 80. that sparked my interest, and section 80 was the first project of his i heard front to back.
May 26, 2015 S80 the day it leaked/was released. not sure if it was one or the other. Only got into Kendrick a few weeks before S80's release via hearing him as a feature a few times. I then went back and checked out OD and the KL EP and thought they were pretty special. A bit after that Hiiipower came out as a single/video and I was pretty much hooked. I remember my thoughts building up to S80 were "this guy will probably be the next big rapper" then hearing S80 start to finish proved it.
May 26, 2015 i only knew him from the 100 futures he brought in a couple months. I thought he wasn't able to bring a dope solo album. A friend of mine said GKMC was good s--- so I downloaded it and It was love at first sight.
