    both are in my top 5 favourite rappers right now, and sometimes it depends on my mood of who I like better, but there is no denying that Kendrick is the better rapper and can make better albums, but Coles mixtape game is too strong

    overall Id say Kendrick

    he's an innovative public figure, nobody can argue against that, and he's one of the nicest rappers ever, but he hasn't done anything special musically.

    I think FNL and TWU alone are enough to showcase how talented he is. Both great mixtapes. But it sounds like we're gonna agree to disagree. He's got plenty of unreleased/random songs that are great as well.

    You should listen to The Warm Up and FNL

    I dont think one is better than the other they can both tell a story and are good lyrically while being able to appeal to the commercial side, i think Cole was a lot better than Kendrick on the mixtape level TWU & FNL > OD & KLEP but Kendrick stepped up and GKMC was better than SS but Cole come with FHD which imo is better listening and has more replay value than TPAB.

    I give it to Cole overall because he produces and writes everything i think people forget that sometimes when rating an artist as 'overall'

    I tried to get into Cole when The Warm Up dropped but just couldn't for some reason so I left it. 2014 FHD had some good hype and was name dropped a lot on here so gave it a listen and enjoyed it. I'll revisit The Warm Up sometime though and give Cole's material a proper listen.

    as much as I love Kendrick and think he's superior in virtually every area, I think Cole has more "soul" and can sometimes flow better on a beat than Kendrick. Cole can make some really smooth sounding, relaxing songs. Kendrick also has an elite level flow, but I think Cole may have Kendrick beat in the "accessibility" department.

    Cole also isn't anywhere near as bad as his detractors would have you believing. Great artist.

    Pre TPAB it was definitely Kendrick.

    After FHD and TPAB Cole got the nod over Kendrick. If Drake can't top FHD, I'll put Cole over him too.

    As an artist Kendrick is superior and his retail albums are better so I voted him. Still doesn't change my thoughts on Cole being one of my favorite rappers and hopefully his discography and artistry go on an upward trend for the rest of his career.

    Kendrick takes this easy. He's got 3 critically acclaimed albums under his belt, and Coles got.. Forest Hill Drive? and Cole World.. and born sinner.. IMO 2014FHD is a great album, but the rest of Coles catalogue is lacking.

    Even if FHD was better than TPAB (which it's not), Kendrick still has GKMC & Section 80. which are much much better than any of Cole's studio albums.
