Jun 12, 2015 Tbh @Narsh I legitimately think you're underrating Travis and overrating thug in this song The reason this song works is because it was a b-----r they turned into a depressing song, and Travis has that note depressing and somber tone while thug keeps it lively enough to match the contained hype that the beat has, this song wouldn't work if either of them were missing, its a f---ing amazing track BECAUSE they're both there playing their roles perfectly
Jun 12, 2015 Do you think he sounds pretty future-ish in this, though? It killed me to admit it, but I think he really does, lol.
Jun 12, 2015 Yeah for sure he absolutely does. I have no qualms admitting Travis sounds like other dudes when he actually does (which is less often than people act like) But then again Travis has a similar leaned out voice and uses the same kind of auto tune so I think it's less him sounding like future and more both of them sounding like auto tune rappers who drink too much lean
Jun 12, 2015 This may be bold to say with @Narsh in here, but I think Trav can use the autotune better than Future The end of Quintana part 2 is perfect.
Jun 12, 2015 But then people would have to actually give Travis a valid listen instead of dismissing him because it's trendy
Jun 12, 2015 Low key wish they had an OG version in circulation so I could show my friends without it being depressing af
Jun 12, 2015 I hear you, I'm not too big on him myself (subject to change or remain) but then again I've only ever listened to Days Before Rodeo so I tend not to even try entering these discussions.
