Jerry West won it in '69 in a losing team against Boston.

That's crazy i didn't know that could happen. Honestly if a losing player ever deserved finals MVP it was LBJ right now lol assuming he keeps it up after only one bad game in game 4

I remember Tyson Chandler winning defensive player of the year in 2012 and not making it to the NBA all defensive first team the same year.

That might be more idiotic than an opposing player winning Finals MVP

I don't mind if LeBron ends up or doesn't end up with the Finals MVP if the Cavs lose, but I'd still think you would consider him as a candidate.

There are sports that have awarded the best player on ground even if they do lose and no one complains because you'd much rather have the win.

Obviously i'm rooting for the Cavs to win it all, but if they lose i think it would be hilarious if LBJ won finals MVP. He really deserves it and that would piss off the the fans that hate him

I wouldn't even want Bron to win the finals MVP if he loses if I was a fan lol, it'd be embarrassing, awkward and probably turn into a joke he hears the rest of his career. I also don't see how or why a losing player should ever get it no matter how well he does.

Anyways, Reggie Miller had the record for most 3's in a single postseason with 58. Steph Curry now has 95 this postseason. :'(

Even though I'm not a big Bron fan, this is just painful too see, the guy's giving his all while it seems like his teammates couldn't care less.

That's my worry if the Lakers draft a big man, so many of them are injury prone and some never end up having a career that even lasts 5 years. I still think it's possible they take Russel instead of Okafor or Towns.

A lot of reports are saying they're locked in on taking Okafor. Even though reports like that are a lot of times false and stuff always happens between the lottery and draft. Like Embiid dropping so much.

My dad, a HUGE Clippers fan his whole life asks me, "who's Lance Stephenson again?"

"dad he's that guy who blew at LeBron's face"

    "OH NO NOT THAT d-ck f---. f---."

I swear the Clippers just stack up on these players that look great on paper but when it comes to the playoffs they cant get over the hump.

We'll see how this ends up going.

Not a bad trade. Spencer Hawes had that awful contract for how much time he was seeing. Even worse than his wardrobe/haircut. Lance Stephenson might be a good fit as a defensive stopper on this team and I could see him getting some backup PG minutes as well as the starting 2 or 3.

It was a great trade for the Clippers. They lose Hawes, who was on a terrible contract and barely got minutes for some reason, and Barnes, who is about as replaceable a player as there is in the league. Lance has potential to be very good.
Best case scenario, the Clips get him to buy in and play hard like the Cavs did with JR Smith. Doc is definitely someone who can handle that challenge. Worst case, he plays bad and the Clips decline the team option on his contract next off season.

Embarrassing for who? The Cavs? They already feel like it since most of them play like s---. And why would that be a joke for LeBron? It would just prove that this guy has done all he could've but still lost.
