Recovery is still a very s-----y album with a few gems like all the other albums since his comeback

Too much yelling and filler tracks. Too many poppy, generic beats. Probably has the least replay value out of all his solo albums since his comeback, tbh. (not counting h--- The Sequel)
Plus "Won't Back Down" might be his worst song ever. And You're Never Over is cringeworthy at best, besides parts of the last verse.

Initially when the album came out I was in Stan mode and thought the album was a classic. In retrospect, its an average album with some gems (GTC, Talkin 2 Myself, Almost Famous). The corny lil wayne inspired punchlines and the screaming really brings the album down for me. Tbh I think this is his worst album post hiatus

I really need to listen to it again. I probably haven't listened to it from start to finish since like 2012. I've completely worn out MMLP2. Only play a select few songs from it now.

Never liked the album to much. Wasn't a fan of the poppy production. Has a few good gems. I love going through changes. I would rather listen to my favs off relapse/mmlp2 than recovery. Beautiful is still his best song to me post hiatus.

I still think it's hands down his best work since 8 Mile. Talkin To Myself, Going Through Changes, Not Afraid, Seduction, No Love, Space Bound, and 25 To Life, along with his features of that era like Airplanes 2, is as good as post hiatus Em is gonna get. It's a shame he fell off again in 2012-13 but he seems to be back on track now with Shady XV, Phenomenal, and his recent features.

Relapse, Recovery, and MMLP2 all sound like warm up albums to me. I always hear random glimpses of classic material in eminem's post-hiatus catalog. Its like he never really goes at 100% these days, maybe cause he'll get too famous or something

who gives a f--- though really

probably my least favorite eminem album tbh...say what you want about encore/relapse, but at least they sounded like the albums HE wanted to make. recovery just sounds so forced

yeah, not afraid 2 is an awful idea anyway

As awful as the puns are on Recovery, it's the only post-comeback Em album that has a few songs I wanna listen to before turning it off.

Never understood the hate for You're Never Over or why it's never considered amongst the other better songs on Recovery. It is corny as f---, but most of Recovery is also. And If you actually listen to it from Em's perspective it's actually pretty sad tbh. Always liked the song.
