    yeah its crazy how all the best kendrick songs are from tpab :clap:

    like I said, props to the critics who gave it a 11/10... they know what they're talking about

    that's not the argument at hand though. this guy is saying that even those who didn't love the album gave it perfect or near-perfect scores out of obligation. i'm pointing out that that's not true, as there are plenty of critics who wrote negatively about it. the fact that i respect them is incidental.

    if someone thinks illmatic, blueprint and 36 chambers are less than classics they have no taste and should be ignored.

    what the f--- lol TCD has just recently been discussed as one of Kanye's top 3 albums, without a doubt, on this very forum.

    and what happened to metacritic guys? Yeezus's metacritic score really begs to differ w/ ur s-----y opinions
    To say an TPAB has no flaws, and is "the first album in history to get an 11/10" because it "deserves" it is dickriding.

    and its hilariously stupid as well

    I'm 28 and i have loved Hip Hop for 15 years. If TPAB had came out in the 90's it wouldn't be getting this praise. Today's quality of music is pretty s--- tbh and because an album themed like TPAB has come out today its being praised way to heavily.

    All these albums were rated just fine.

    i'd say that only kanye west is being overrated because people expect him to drop the 3rd best album of the year after Kendrick lamar and frank ocean, which is impossible.

    Actually the reason why its getting all that love is because its actually better than all the albums released at that time.

    Im also 33 and I'm confident its the greatest album I have heard since Doggystyle, released in 1993.

    Naah MMLP for one is better than TPAB. I'm not really into jazz/g funk based rap but even if i was i would still realize that its overrated.
