lol DJ isnt gonna do s--- for the Mavs. Dirk is old, Wes Matthews is Brandon Roy 2.0(28 years old going on 50) and Parsons is overrated.

Celtics have the Mavs pick and the Nets pick next year, they should really just tank and then trade for Cousins next summer and then maybe the C's can grab somebody in free agency one time. Philly probably has the exact same plan though with their own pick/the Lakers pick and obviously they need more big men.

Afraid that Bucks will become the new sonics. Finally start putting a team together that looks like they could be major contenders out of the east and also the future in Milwaukee is certain.

For people wondering why the Heat were going after Lamarcus... I think it was just for Riley to try and convince him to sign a 1 or 2 year deal because we have the cap flexibility next season.. Because yeah, unless there's a huge sign and trade, there's no way we got him.

Anyone watch the Summer League? I have been watching a lot of ball. Miami just won on a buzzer beating in-bounds alley-oop with .4 seconds left. Winslow passed it to Tyler Johnson. Winslow is gonna be special man.... Looks great in these first two games. I see him as a poor mans James Harden but with much better defense. That's probably his peak.

nobody thought the Spurs were going downhill, their best player is 24 and is the best defender in the league and a top 10 player

yeah, leonard is good....but if duncan and manu were to retire in the off-season (which ain't all that unlikely considering their age)......that would be a big blow to the spurs.....even with how good leonard is.

father time catches up with you eventually, that's all i was saying

Father time already caught up with Tim Duncan he was was a shell of his old self defensively this year (and offensively obviously), these aren't the players carrying the Spurs anymore

We picked up David West for 1.2 Million, the pacers offered him 12 million. It's been a great week for us Spur fans

I love David West but I'm kind of glad he left. It was time to move on. Now hopefully Paul George can get back to 100% and pick up where he left off and continue improving.

Mo Williams heading back to Cleveland. Kinda a cool story. LeBron teaming up with Mo again.

He's actually a great fit for their team as well. Needed a legit backup for Kyrie since dude seems to be made of glass.

Agreed. And he can also play the 2 guard so it would fill another need if JR Smith doesn't come back.

Funny tho, this is what Mo Williams apparently said to LeBron shortly after his decision to play in Miami.

d--- never knew that, pretty hilarious but sucks for Mo.

I don't see JR coming back, he opted out for more money and the Cavs have been spending like the Nets did a few years ago.

Yeah I think they are trying to get him to come back but with Tristan and LeBron still not signed, they will probably run out of money haha. They've done a great job at bringing everyone back as well as adding talent though. They're gonna be a great, deep team next season if they can stay healthy. That's a big if.

Lebron apparently won't talk extension with the Cavs until Tristan's deal is done. They both have the same agent, Lebrons childhood friend, so they have some big time leverage. In a way I like him trying to be involved in roster moves, but sometimes I wish he would just STFU and just play. I've never seen a player with more pull in an organization than him. He knows the Cavs need him more than he needs them, and he's clearly taking advantage of it.

Definitely haha. He's one of the best GMs in the league. I see it more as him possibly being unselfish. Waiting for Thompson to get a deal done so they can worry about what they need to pay LeBron later. As well as anyone else that they may sign.

That last part might be true, but I think Tristan wants Draymond type money, which I don't think he deserves. A fair deal for him would be like 5 years 60 million.

Not shocked that they got Lee. Trade makes them a little better.

I'd rather be in the lottery along with their Nets pick next year and attempt to trade for Cousins next summer.

Pacers and Heat might still be better anyways.

Amir Johnson and David Lee in the Frontcourt for the Celtics!

not sure how I feel about that :pierce:

We have so many big men that have potential and it's nice to see...

Kelly O and Sully ... to add to those guys... we have Thomas and Smart and Young... we have some good players I think we can make waves this next year... but we might want to package a deal and get a big name.
