Jul 10, 2015 no artist's success was a direct result of eminem, but he did change the entire fanbase of hip hop from 99-03. so no he didn't necessarily create a single rap artist you can point to, but he did drastically change the sound of mainstream rap.

Jul 11, 2015 There are artists that wouldn't have had an easy ride if Eminem wasn't around to open doors but listen, if Eminem's mom had an abortion who's to say that all these artists wouldn't still pick up the mic and do the same thing they did to make it to where they are today inspired by the Jay's, Nas's and Tupac's.
