    I don't think he's faking it, but I do think he's utilizing his mental illness for the same publicity cycle he's been doing for a while, now.

    Which brings up the question: Is utilizing a mental illness like this unethical?

    Alright, seen the tweets now.
    Agree with the people saying this is clearly the thoughts of a man who's going through it. Why would anyone want to promote an album like this?
    This is the exact irrational behaviour that has been putting people off Kanye for a while now.
    I've seen mental illness from close by expressed in a much less public way, but it still look eerily similar.

    I get that it's easy to just brush it off as "Kanye being Kanye" when you're not familiar with mental illness.

    Some symptoms of Psychosis (a condition commonly found in schizophrenic and bipolar people):
    • false beliefs and delusions
    • incoherent speech
    • inappropriate behavior for a given situation
    • social withdrawal
    • sleep deprivation
    • delusions of reference (the idea that one's experience is a deliberate and specific act or message from some other entity; @Marshall III has shown this repeatedly for example)
    • disorganized thoughts & actions
    • "word salad"
    Kanye has shown all of these symptoms before (besides sleep deprivation which he has confirmed he has on several occasions)

    The only symptom we haven't seen is hallucinations, which I'd bet Kanye would be reluctant to share

    @Koolo like he's literally been diagnosed with bipolar since he was 15 and he's showing all the signs of a manic episode and you think its more likely that hes faking this rather than suffering from a side effect of an illness hes known to have? cmon

    I know celebrities seem larger than life but they can suffer from common illnesses and mental health issues too
