    Dude was breaking the record at every venue for attendance. Why would he fake a mental breakdown to cancel that? If now he’s faking a mental breakdown as promotion.

    that kanye, wildly famous and almost universally considered a genius, decided to destroy that reputation by "pretending" to have manic episodes? and when that behavior yielded lower sales, poor reviews, and a general belief that he's become a lunatic not worth listening to, he... doubled down on it? tripled?
