    I'd like to know how the producer that has had the biggest impact on your production/life and why so.

    I'll format a longer post later but I'll let you all know, in advance, it's the RZA. I highly recommend reading that Tao Of Wu; it's helped my hustle with this music thing.

    edm artists like Nero, Zeds Dead, Bassnectar... and then there's always random others like Alex Hope (woman behind the vast majority of Troye Sivans songs), who's been a big influence on me lately

    My direct influences with my old school sampled beats would be The RZA, as stated before, Kanye West, Pete Rock, J-Dilla, and recently discovered, Nujabes.
    As far as the hybrid stuff: Flying Lotus.
    All original compositions are influenced by the many many albums I own from artists ranging from all genres. Silversun Pickups/Jimi Hendrix/Bob Marley/Tree 6 Mafia/TOKiMONSTA/Deadmau5/Calvin Harris/Smashing Pumpkins/Nirvana/Metallica/Attack Attack!/Lynyrd Skynyrd/Yellowjackets, just to name a few.

    i'd say outside of the ones I listened to, I take a lot of other influences too like evanescence, NiN, nirvana, metallica, soundgarden, flyleaf etc.

    lots of dark/somber/mellow stuff

    feel the kanye love too, some cudi as well and random others

    honestly really anything i ever really hear and enjoy enough to listen to regularly
