    He was not awful, but he was very meh-- just like the rest of D12 sans Eminem.

    I can't lie, I mean no disrespect but I cringe when people look back on him as some sort of great MC. He wasn't.

    I won't say Koolo's opinions are wrong... everyone has the right to their opinion but the way he posts in Eminem section makes me feel like he hates on Eminem and anything related to him lately... Just pure hatred with no thought involved and that goes for many members on this site. It's like Em makes you all insecure about something which I can't figure out

    Proof was pretty average with not much stand out qualities other than his voice.

    But he was a heavy influence on Eminem so for that he did pretty well.

    He was very hit & miss. Some tracks i will say were great (Forgive Me, Kurt Kobain) but f---ing h---, when he was bad, he was REALLY bad.

    Hearing him on tracks you nearly fall asleep listening to him with his Laryngitis inflicted voice.

    When it comes to Proof, I feel he's more of "the what a great MC he could've been" than opposed to him actually being one. There was potential in there and he's had flashes of it before he died but needed more time to make things click or atleast more time to be given a chance to.

    He is good, nothing expectional though. Kurt cobain is a great song imo and I like his verses in Revelation, Rap Game, When the music stop, Keep Talking
