Mar 11, 2016 Which is why I called it civil disobedience. It's not a violation of the first amendment lol. Donald Trump could have a national press conference ready to go in 30 minutes if he wanted to. He made the call to shut it down. He could have stuck with it and told police to escort them all out. It wouldn't be the first time he's done that.
Mar 11, 2016 This is one of those situations were if the protesters were going beyond what's legal I know there not right but I probably would have done the same tbh. f--- Trump
Mar 11, 2016 Everyone protesting better hope Trump's supporters don't crash Sanders or Clintons rallies, then we'll have huge f---ing problems that might not be reparable
Mar 11, 2016 Its not permanently violated escort hundreds of people out?? sure. He made the right move and they succeeded in stopping his speech gratz to them.
Mar 11, 2016 This is setting a bad precedent, if Trump's supporters & protestors keep clashing, it's gonna happen country wide & by the time we have a president there's going to be all out chaos, the voting booths won't be safe at this point
Mar 11, 2016 Yes, escort hundreds of people out. That was an option. He could have done that but HE (Trump) chose not to. Again, violence isn't something new at trump rallies. This s--- happens literally every rally. Maybe not at this scale but it happens. They discussed it at the debate last night. No other rallies experience the type of chaotic violence trump rallies do. You don't have to be a genius to figure out why.
Mar 11, 2016 its literally donald trumps fault that his hate speeches brought this many people together to protest. its not the protestors fault enough people wanted to tag along that the event got shut down. peaceful protests arent illegal. neither is donald trump's right to say whatever dumb s--- he wants. which is why things are how they are rn in chicago
Mar 11, 2016 & CNN goes and talks to Trump anyways, he's successfully hogged all the attention for the week again. The media needs a house cleaning
Mar 11, 2016 He's wrong about the free speech, but these actions won't help anybody's cause but the bigotry inspired by what trump says, which leads to more trump support. We cannot continue to stop entire rallies because the amount of trump supporters might outnumber protestors & if their rage builds off this, it's going to get extremely ugly & I already have thought up probable severely bad outcomes
Mar 11, 2016 how am i wrong about free speech ?? I am protesting narsh's speech cause i dont agree with what he has to say I want it shut down, meaning i DONT want him to speak wtf do you think that is ?/ give me a break, you people are stubborn
Mar 11, 2016 PROTESTING IS FREE SPEECH jesus f---ing christ what the protestors did is NOT illegal this is free speech vs free speech
Mar 11, 2016 I AM NOT SAYING THAT you are using free speech to block free speech ??? what good is that ?? thats not hypocrisy ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Mar 11, 2016 If free speech became physical altercation started by the protestors, then that's different. Simply expressing yourself no matter how vulgar or loud is not against the 1st amendment, but what you say can shift the environment
Mar 11, 2016 The way in which protestors go about protesting isn't going to change anything. If you're attending a trump rally for non-professional reasons, in all likelihood, you support trump's racist and hateful rhetoric. Trump supporters aren't going to acknowledge BLM & the major issues they face regardless of what they do. They did this for the media attention. Had they just stood outside, I doubt anyone would be talking about it.
