Aug 29, 2024 This console generation has been so boring so far. I don’t even see the point in the PS5 Pro when most PS5 games are glorified PS4 games right now anyway.
Aug 29, 2024 exactly, and it’s not gonna get better since the only big game coming soon is GTA. “Soon” This is the era to replay and discover older games
Aug 30, 2024 Ended up eating up some kpins after a refill and really wanted to play halo 1-3 campaigns and got the new Xbox series X but game pass had the master chief collection for free and all of 360s games. Kind of blame @DKC for the influence on this one. I get to play infinite for free, I enjoy it but not real competitive or everyday player.
Aug 31, 2024 why? Their games are dope and I bet they plan to keep it around for another decade or 15 years again. I would pay over 80 for GTA, I don’t care, games like TLOU, Uncharted or GTA deserve the money if you ask me.
Aug 31, 2024 I agree. Spider-Man was a cool game but once you beat it, you're done with it. A game that has an online experience that is updated for a decade should cost more
Sep 2, 2024 1. because it would make it the first time they ever did so. it would also mean whatever collector's edition they would come out with would also be more expensive. and 2. because everyone else in the industry is gonna follow suit, even though they're not Rockstar. it's gonna set a bad precedent.
Sep 2, 2024 Not sure about that, every game isn’t GTA or TLOU so most people wouldn’t pay. Bad decision. But yeah, games will keep getting more expensive. That’s if they come up with more stuff to release that’s not a remaster of a remaster…
Sep 2, 2024 yeah absolutely not every game is GTA or TLOU but just like not every phone was an iPhone in 2017, they all started costing $1,000 after Apple did it first. and speaking of remasters of remasters, lemme just put out there that tlou for Ps5 came out for $70 too.
Sep 2, 2024 There's a big difference between GTA and TLOU. TLOU is not even arguably a better single player game but doesn't offer much after you play it. GTA has a single player and an open world online game that constantly gets updates for over a decade. I honestly wouldn't be mad at paying $100 for the next GTA for that alone. Especially when it's supposed to be a much bigger map. If they can somehow just sell the single player for $70 and have online as an extra that would tick boxes for those who don't like online, but just about everyone plays online
Sep 3, 2024 I agree that there is a big difference between GTA & tlou, and I also didn't bring up tlou as an example. I meant that the industry in general is going to take advantage of it. there may be a ton of blowback, but I am sure everyone else is gonna try simply because they are.
