May 21, 2017 loved it when it came out (bar 2 songs maybe) but still thought MBDTF was a more coherent and just better overall project. It was a good drinking album at gatherings. almost 2 months later I had like no intention of ever listening to it again and every attempt since then has been met with disinterest. I've literally only played BotL and Hold my Liquor since the year it was released, all the other songs bore me. if 4 updates couldn't save it, then it's s--- tbh. The most interesting thing to come from that was the Rick Ross Famous freestyle/single verse and the Panda remix. Then there was the whole Wolves f--- up, that 10/10 song was ruined for me because even after 4 updates he couldn't get it to sound as good as a f---ing piece of s--- phone recorded snippet/the original that was leaked in low quality. The only other song I thought was good was Real Friends, but it doesn't interest me that much and i get a very *motivational facebook post about real and fake* vibe from it.
May 21, 2017 then you look at MBDTF -great intro -f---ing classic cudi/kanye/raekwon -Pretty much his theme song, Power -b---- im a munsta no good blud sucka fat mutha f--ka as u run thru my jungles all u hear is rumbles kanye west samples heres one for example ( no song on TLOP/Yeezus got a better intro than that) -RZA pusha T and Jay Z on one song. -Rick Ross rapping a verse wrote by Push -a short film that wasn't locked behind some fashion show/exclusive screening/deluded marketing fa---- s--- it's only fault is that all of the lights sticks out a fair bit as some kind of poppy anthem type thing
May 21, 2017 Gotta hard disagree there I love mbdtf and yeezus a lot but I revisit yeezus a lot more than I do mbdtf It didn't need saving ctfu, tlop's only flaw was awful sequencing (and wolves f--- up obv I 100000% agree with you there Ye rly s--- the bed there)
May 21, 2017 Like yeah I think mbdtf is better than both of those albums (I think it's his best actually) but I think yeezus has more replayability
May 22, 2017 HHNF/Lord William are both 9.5/10 classics, I go back and forth on which one I like more. Push is in my top 5, but My Name Is My Name and The Prelude don't come close to those two clipse albums in any capacity. They're solid albums, but you're delusional if you think that they're better. MNIMN is like 2/3 classic 1/3 s--- and I can't forgive the s---. The Prelude is just like 6-7/10 all the way through with 1-2 highlights. Nothing that memorable. Lunch Money is amazing though.
May 22, 2017 bro what you mean? the only not-amazing song on that album is the one with kelly rowland. I mean I thought similar when it came out, then when I re-listened i was like "oh i only thought this was a letdown cause i heard half of it before it was released." king push/numbers on the board/sweet seranade/hold on/40 acres/no regrets/nosetalgia/pain/S.N.I.T.C.H go listen to it again, it was way ahead of it's time.
May 22, 2017 You need to drop the whole pretentious shtick @Charlie Work. There's holes in your persona and it's blatantly obvious you're nowhere near as confident in real life as you are online. I mean, don't act high and mighty then ruin your "intelligent" persona by calling someone a "roofucker". Jesus. OMG we live in oztralia we f--- kangaroos !!! You read a few Wikipedia articles and think you're a connoisseur. f--- off, virgin.
May 22, 2017 Ooooooooooh aussie slang! f--- yeh man cooked me! Next you'll call me a "wanker" and say steve irwin sucks
May 22, 2017 not sure who pusha t is but good hearing kanye still have friend humble enough to help him. seem like kanye not picking best peoples to hang with
