    Was reading the TPAB Grammy thread and people mentioned who could take it from him.
    Would IYRTITL be eligible for a Grammy since it was for sale? It's always been called a mixtape but what's that really mean if you can buy it on iTunes and buy it physically?

    It could be yeah, but i dont think it'll make the cut to the grammys since he's releasing a real album this year

    No it's a retail mixtape, basically a way to sell it but excuse it as not part of the Drake canon, if you will

    But yes it's eligible I believe

    If he releases this and Views from the 6 before this year's Grammy cut off date, wouldn't that disqualify him from being nominated at all? Isn't there some rule or something that prevents an artist being eligible for a nomination if they release two solo projects within a specific time frame?

    Don't think so, they'd probably just go with views which will probably be better
