In an Instagram post on Monday (November 18), Ra shared a photo of himself and the Geto Boys leader together in the Bahamas. A number of high-profile Hip Hop personalities — Kxng Crooked, Kid Capri, Torae, Lord Finesse, Ant Banks and more — all seemed thrilled at the possibility. But Pete Rock had one very specific request: bring him on board to provide the music. “Well I’m still alive doing what I’m supposed to do,” he wrote. “I still exist so utilize me cuz not everyone has the passion and fire and knowledge of music to know how to make yall sound good. People will want this album with the right type of music to make it interesting. Not everyone got it still. Yeah i said it.” Scarface’s trip to the Bahamas seems to indicate that he’s still in good health following a major health scare earlier this year.
