May 21, 2016 but "who" besides his die hard fans overrated this project? and I didn't mention it being different to allude that's what makes this album great.. it was a carefully constructed body of work that was meant to be great. also ofc you wouldn't care about TPAB... its not your album lol but would you want people listening to your music in the future or using the scraps to wipe their a---?
May 21, 2016 tbh. But you can definitely suspect the guys saying it was praised because it was different" to be very young... so don't be surprise if they ignore the past 30-40 years of music.
May 21, 2016 Exactly. Tpab was always gonna be praised as a masterpiece, this truelie is a masterpiece in so many aspects. Even musicians who don't even like kednrick saying it has some of the best composition ever lol
May 21, 2016 true but I have a hard time seeing how kendrick could do better than tpab. It was a team effort and all of the guys were on their best for this album.

May 21, 2016 Only way for kendrick to top TPAB is to work with the exact same artists and pray they can surpass themselves. Everything about it is so musically precise, it's impressive. But I have no doubt it will still be a great album.
May 21, 2016 Gonna be insane to see where Kendrick goes with his career and who he ends up working with. Like years ago I couldn't even imagine him working with some of the artists he did on TPAB and come out with the product he did. Kendrick is a really smart guy. I think he knows where to head. And he seems like he is in it truly for the art and not just the money. I don't think hes worried about topping tpab, he knows he has to make something different to add to his legacy
